Easy to clean and does the job

I tried this air fryer the same day it showed up, the clear glass bowls just looked interesting, so I kept turning them in my hands for a moment before actually using them. They feel solid, but not the kind that makes you worry about dropping them. I like seeing what’s going on while the food cooks, so that part grabbed me right away. I went with the smaller bowl first since I only wanted a quick snack and it fit on the counter without crowding everything. When I started it, the buttons were straightforward. I tapped the air fry option and let it run while I stood there watching through the glass because the crisping is oddly fun to look at. Heat spreads pretty evenly from what I could tell. I opened it once to shake the food and nothing stuck, nothing burned. The silicone mat ended up being useful since I didn’t want the hot top sitting directly on the counter. The larger bowl came out later when I made chicken and some veggies. That setup handled more food without any fuss. Everything browned nicely and stayed clean. Washing it was almost too easy. I put the bowl and the lid in the dishwasher, wiped the heating part, and that was it. No scrubbing or weird residue. What I like most is the stacking thing. The small bowl goes inside the big one and the heating unit sits on top, so it doesn’t hog space. It’s become the thing I use when I don’t want to heat the big oven. It cooks fast, looks neat while it works, just fits into the day without making a mess or needing extra steps.

Well thought out design. Glass containers nest. Temperatures printed on top. Dishwasher safe.

This is a well thought out air fryer.Included is the air fryer, two sizes of glass containers, an adapter ring for use with the larger container, two crisp plates for the containers, two lids for the containers so you can store things in them, and a silicone mat. The lid for the larger container snaps on while the lid for the smaller container has a silicone seal and latches. The air fryer is intuitive and easy to use. You assemble the air fryer using whichever glass container size you want. Then select mode and adjust time and push power to start. You can remove the air fryer from the container mid-cook and it will stop cooking letting you flip or stir food before putting the fryer back on. It started automatically and kept the timer I had set. Once the fryer is done you can pick up the top part and set it aside. There's four legs in the corners that it will rest on keeping the hot metal away from your counter. It sits nicely on the included silicone mat. There's a couple indents on the top of the air fryer that makes it easy to get a good grip on it before moving it.There's 5 different settings - "air fry", "recrisp", "max crisp", "bake", and "keep warm". And on top of the air fryer there's an actual temperature range and description of the different settings. Max crisp for example shows a temperature range of 380-415.For cleanup, most of the pieces can go into the dishwasher. And for storage the smaller container will nest inside the larger diagonally. With everything stacked the fryer is about 13-1/4" tall, 11-3/4" wide, and 9-1/4" deep. The results have been great. I've used a deep fryer before and I've of course used an oven but there are some foods that don't cook best in those appliances. Frozen fish filets with delicate breading will fall apart in a deep fryer and don't crisp up in the oven. This air fryer cooked them to perfection. And with the glass container you can actually see your food while it cooks.

Accidentally Got an Air Fryer, and I Love It!

I had no idea what I was actually getting. The listing said air fryer grate and touchscreen gloves. I was here for the gloves since they were meant to be a present for my partner. Imagine my surprise when an entire air fryer showed up instead of a pair of touchscreen gloves. And not just any air fryer. The 5 in 1 Portable Glass Air Fryer, mysteriously merged with reviews for a pizza cutter and who knows what else turned out to be a winner.I really love this thing. I heated up brunch in the smaller glass container and made croutons for homemade tomato soup in the larger one. Both took about five minutes using the Re crisp function and came out absolute perfection. We had just bought another air fryer I liked well enough, but that one is going to my partner. I am keeping this one. It is just too convenient to let leftovers cool, put on the lid, and toss the whole container in the fridge. I do wish you could control the temperature or remove the plastic handles since they make storage awkward. They seem permanently attached to the glass. It should also come with a silicone trivet for the heating unit. There are two for the bowls but nothing for the actual heating part. The feet keep it lifted so it's not directly touching the counter, but I'm not setting that directly on our quartz countertops. No thank you!Even with the quirks, this little unit's compact and seriously convenient. The bowls nest, which saves space, and everything I've cooked so far has been absolute perfection. Tonight I'm making sausages that I'll fry up in the 5 in 1 Portable Glass Air Fryer. Wish me luck!
