Cute and delicate Mahjong coasters, almost like a doily. Recommended without reservation
These items are lovely little doily-type coasters. Construction is excellent quality. The embroidery is sharp and very well-done (by hand!) with two or three colors on each of the items. I am not sure how practical these are as coasters, as they are almost too lovely to use in that manner and they are so slight that I'm not sure of the absorbency. It would be even odder to use them as a napkin, which is one of the other uses suggested by the seller. The seller shows them used as a coaster for a martini glass, and I would say yes: that would be a perfect use for them, as they would not need to absorb much in the way of condensation! I intend to use these as a gift, so the eventual use is out of my hands anyway!
