Speeds up fruit prep!
These fruit chopping tools really speed up the process when I'm making a fruit tray or fruit salad! The apple slicer is sharp and sturdy, and the pineapple cutter worked well once I figured out how to use it! There are no instructions, and most of the tools are pretty intuitive, but the pineapple cutter took me a minute to figure out. You basically just have to cut all the outside peel off the pineapple and then put the cutter on top of the core, press and turn. It takes the core out and cuts the fruit into a long spiral. My only complaint was that it squeezed out a fair amount of juice in the process - I think setting it in a flat, shallow dish would help me not have juice going everywhere next time. The pineapple corer was a little hard to pull apart, but once I did, it was easy to clean. I'm anxious to try to watermelon cutter!

I ended up only using two of the pieces out of here. Both of which worked very well. I love the pineapple corer as well as the apple slicer. I'm an adult and still like to run this through my apple! They are both decently made and easy to store. The pineapple corer comes apart and fits well in the kitchen drawer as does the apple slicer. These are great to have on hand. The rest of the pieces I just didn't use or could imagine using so I tossed them. Given the price when compared buying them individually, I'm glad I wen with the set. It just seems wasteful.

Not just unitaskers
This is kind of a starter set for fruit prep. Most pieces sounded like unitaskers, but I already used the kiwi tools on avocados and the banana slicer on hot dogs. The watermelon cutter is too big and isn't shaped right to cut cantaloupe easily, so it probably would only work well on large watermelons. So far they seem sturdy enough, but they don't feel strong enough for heavy use.

Various problems solved.
I ordered this set when my old pineapple corer broke. I had an awkwardly shaped pineapple and thought brute force and ignorance might overcome the obstacle. Instead I broke the corer. The one that comes in this set is exactly the same as my other one, so I’ll be a little more gentle in the future, but that one did last me a few years and this one seems like it will too if I don’t get reckless.I also chose this set instead of a single replacement to help with my dehydrating. My kids love to help me slice the fruit when I dehydrate fruit chips, but the slices never come out even causing headaches with the dehydration process. The banana/strawberry slicer is especially useful in keeping our slices even for fruit chips.My wife also uses the apple corer often for snacks for the kids and she’s happy with it.We have not yet tried the watermelon slicer and I’m not sure we’ll ever use the kiwi peeler, but with just the three we use regularly this pack becomes a good value to me. I’m sure the watermelon slicer will be put to good use soon and it’ll be nice to know the kiwi peeler is there if we ever need it.

The quality varies
I ordered this because it contains 5 items to cover most of your needs for slicing and cutting various fruits. Some of the items are better quality than others, the worst being the one for Kiwi fruit which is very flimsy.The highest quality item is the apple slicer, it has the heft needed to core and slice apples with a good grip either side.Because of the differing quality I would rate this 3 stars overal.

Wash after use
I think this is a handy set of tools to have. I think that most of them work well and they are pretty easy to use. However, some of them do seem to be better quality than others. It can also be a little difficult to wash them so make sure you rinse them off right away to make cleaning them easier.
