Okay, dull knives are dangerous, right? We'll, these will be safer for the kids than! Especially the pealer!!! Ask me how I know! 😉 It was a great demonstration about teaching why to be careful. I was especially impressed with the storage container. Great idea! Much better than those wood block knife holders! I need to find one of those for my knives! The knives that come with this are perfect. Its a good idea to get the gloves that go with it, if you value your little ones fingers! These knives are REAL, and sharp, just like yours.The stand that comes with it to hold your tools is great also.However, the scissors and vegetable peeler and very cheaply made. Like worse than dollar store quality. I gave my daughter a real peeler to work with (while wearing her gloves) because the one with this set never peeled the skin off anything.I believe I saw a video on this product where the creators said that kids are more likely to try or eat something that they had a part in preparing. This has turned out to be true for us!
