First impression of the cutting boards and knife sets are the color. It is a beautiful and colorful addition to my kitchen.Knives are very sharp and beautifully balanced. It is not to heavy or not to light, and it makes cutting very smooth and effortless. Large handle makes easy to hold the knife without squeezing to tight when cutting meat or a large item.Boards have grooves that collects liquid, and also has four colorful feet in four corners to that prevent the boards from slipping when using. It is also very sturdy and makes very little or no knife marks, so it is easy to clean, and it is hygenic.It is also beautiful to use as a food display boards as well. I love it.

**Update: after this review, the company reached out to me and offered to send me a new set. I changed my rating to four stars because I thought that was very thoughtful and I hope that maybe this broken knife was a big glitch in the system and new knives will last a lot longer. 🤞I was super excited for this set. Originally I loved them. The only problem was the scissors were useless short of cutting chicken breasts or some sort of meat.Unfortunately I've only been using them just shy of 2 months and this happened when I accidentally dropped it putting it away on the magnet.I would not buy these again and I would recommend

Not quality, smelly
Meh . . . They work fine as cutting boards but they have cuts on the surface after only a couple uses. They have a bad odor when they get wet. It hasn’t subsided. The knives are not that nice for the price. They don’t seem very high quality. Where the plastic handles meet the blades are scuffed and uneven. I would not buy these again. I’d spend a little more to get something nice.

I must admit this set costs way more than I am usually comfortable spending on cutting boards but I’ve got a busy family to feed & was in dire need & decided to give these a try. But because of the investment I wanted to give myself time to fully get used to them.I can now say that I do really enjoy these cutting boards & they have quickly become my favorite set & have replaced all of my others. The 4 different sizes make it easy to find the right one for the job. Technically the silicone corner pieces have pictured labels for what they suggest you use them for (meat, poultry, fish, & vegetables) but I tend to use the largest one for meats & the rest for a variety of uses.Yes they do show score marks & do look worn in now, however overall they are holding up amazingly well. They don’t seem to hold any stains at all or have any deep grooves that would worry me. I’ve thrown them in the dishwasher multiple times & they come out just fine. I do like that the corner silicone pieces help keep the boards steady on the counter. And the grooves along the edges work great for trapping juices.Overall these cutting boards are sturdy, hard, & dependable. Easy to clean and store away. The colored corner pieces kind of make them fun looking on the shelf too. Overall it has proven to be a great set & I think I would be too spoiled now to try to switch back to a basic brand after experiencing this set. Highly recommend.
