2 of each type, Watertight. 304 Steel. Great set.
The set comes with two of each variety of 3 compartments and 2 compartments. The 3 is rated for 600 mL and the 2 is rated for 700 mL capacity. Both are made of 304 food-grade stainless steel, and for this application is nice. The only thing better would be 316 food-grade stainless steel but that's overkill. The lids are plastic with silicone seals. Yes, the lids make all compartments watertight. Which means you can put anything you want without any leakage! Amazing. Please remember that you can't microwave metal. Which means, if you're looking for containers to warm up your food in the office, this isn't it. These bento boxes are better for sandwiches, salads, fruits... basically anything that you can eat at room temperature (e.g. chips) or cold (e.g. refrigerated).Anything you need to warm back up like your stews, soups and roasted potatoes will need to be plated to be microwaved. The only way to heat the food is either to put this in the oven, or to use it on a stove. It is steel so it's safe to heat on the stovetop or oven. The set comes with a box of utensils which include mini fork, spoon and knife. The box itself unfortunately is hard to slide open, and the silverware (not real silver of course) is easily bendable but is a nice extra that I wasn't expecting. These are superior to your disposable plastic silverware, so they're worth keeping in addition to sustainability and plastic reduction. It's too bad that with 4 bentos, you only have one set of togo silverware. It would have been nice to at least have 2 but ideally 4 for each of the boxes for the whole family.Overall, my complaints are minor, and the bento boxes are well made and good quality. Recommended, especially if your meals tend to not need to be microwaved.

Great quality, love the leak-resistant lids, but the shape is a little awkward
This 5-piece stainless steel bento box set comes with 4 bento boxes and 1 little set of mini utensils. The utensils are actually really cute and super practical. They’re great for things like condiments, candy, mixed nuts, olives, little pickles, or even something spreadable like hummus or dip. They’re mini, so they work perfectly for snack trays when you have people over. The containers themselves are definitely high-quality stainless steel. They feel very sturdy and well made. But my absolute favorite thing about these is the fact that the lids are leak resistant. I have other bento-style containers that look similar to these, and my biggest gripe with those is that the compartments always leak into each other. The lids on those don’t seal tightly enough, so the food ends up mixing together, which kinda defeats the whole purpose of separated compartments. These ones are different. The lids on these actually do a pretty solid job at keeping the sections separate! They’re not 100% leak-proof… like, if you turn them upside down or throw them into your bag sideways for a long time, the contents in each compartment might end up leaking into each other a wee bit eventually 🤪… but for normal jostling around in a lunch bag, the compartments stay put and the food doesn’t mix. That’s honestly the main thing I was hoping for, and these do deliver on that, so… woot woot! 🤩💕Now for the downsides. First, they’re super long and skinny. Because of the shape, they don’t fit very well into a lot of lunch bags. I really wish they were designed more square instead of this long, narrow shape. Especially the version that has 2 compartments inside — that one absolutely could have been made more square. The 3-compartment version would be a little trickier, but even that one could be a little less stretched out.The second thing goes right along with the shape issue: These don’t nest together well. Only the 2 containers that are the exact same size nest with each other. The other style doesn’t nest into them nicely. So if they don’t nest well anyway, then why not make the 2-compartment version a more normal shape? 🤷🏻♀️ It would make them way more practical. But this certainly isn’t the end of the world, it’s just something to be aware of is all.Other than that, they’re very well made and feel quite durable (they’re food grade 304 stainless steel, baby! 👍🏼). The leak-resistant lids are a huge plus, and the mini utensil set is a fun extra to have. I do wish they included 2 little utensil sets instead of just 1, but that’s not a dealbreaker.Price-wise, they feel a little on the higher end. You do get 4 containers, but personally I’d probably want to pay more like $30 if I were buying something like this again. They are high quality though, so it really just depends on what you value.MY OVERALL RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆

These Are Great For On The Go
I recently picked up the 5-Piece Stainless Steel Bento Box Set in orange, and I have to say, it's been a game changer for my meal prep! I love how versatile these containers are. The two 3-compartment boxes are perfect for packing my lunch with a mix of different foods, like a salad on one side, grains on the other, and some fruit for a nice snack. The two 2-compartment containers are great for quicker meals or snacks. I find them really handy for days when I just need to grab and go. The stainless steel design feels sturdy and easy to clean, which is a huge plus for me. No more worrying about plastic containers staining or warping in the microwave! The portable cutlery kit is a thoughtful addition too. It’s all neatly packed, so I can throw it in my bag without worrying about forgetting utensils. Plus, it’s just refreshing to have something made from stainless steel rather than plastic, especially for the environment.Overall, I’ve enjoyed using this set for work, travel, and even outdoor picnics. If you're looking for a reliable and stylish way to bring your meals on the go, I definitely recommend this bento box set!
