Durable cookware with versatile performance
The cookware looks great and feels solid with excellent build quality and even heat distribution. Functionality is strong across frying, sautéing, and simmering, and it performs well on all cooktops. Handles stay comfortable during use and cleaning is straightforward. The only "downside" is that without properly using enough oil or butter, you might have to worry about stickiness. Strong value for money for a complete stainless steel set.

Poor handle construction. Lids a little loose.
I obviously have no way to tell whether these are actually 5-ply or not, but they have a heft to them that makes me believe they're clad construction, at least on the base. They're absolutely gorgeous, and the handles - both those on the lids and those on the pots - are super comfortable to hold and use. I love that the handles on the lids are arch handles, not knobs, making grip more secure. These are, by far, the most comfortable-to-use cookware set I've ever owned.They do, however, have a couple of issues.The first is that the lids are just a bit looser than I would expect in quality cookware. They slide around on top of their respective pots rather than sitting stable. Two of the lids that come with this are the same size, to cover two of the skillets - the largest and the medium - as well as the stock pot, but the lids fit considerably looser on the stockpot than they do on the skillets. I can't tell a difference between the lids, at least, but it makes me wonder if the stock pot is just slightly off-measurement. Overall, I wish the lids had a tighter tolerance.My biggest issue with these, though, is the quality of the handles. Overall, the metal itself seems okay, but I noticed that several of the handle connections - and particularly the one on my smaller sauce pan - are very poorly done. The connection between the handle and sauce pan has a huge gap that I'm very worried about water getting in and staying in, causing rust in the steel exterior, especially given that 18/0 is more prone to rust than the 18/8 interior is. Granted, 18/0 is the only viable steel option if they want it to be induction capable, so it definitely needs to be there, but that desperately needs to be accounted for in construction to ensure that there is no chance for rust to develop between connections. With loose or gapping connections, rust is a very distinct and probable worry.Additionally, the finish on the handle connectors is done poorly as well. The tabs that the rivets lock down are cut badly, leaving rough edges and, in one case, very sharp edges where there should be smooth, clean, gently brushed finishes instead. It's like they chopped it off, attached it, and then tried to finish it, not realizing that they couldn't get at it properly. I'm actually worried I'm going to cut myself on one of them because of how sharp that connector tab is. The interior grooves of the handles are very rough as well, both in the divide between the connector tabs and in the hole at the handle end used to hang them. It feels like coarse sandpaper, not like the brushed steel of the rest of the cookware's exterior.Overall, I feel like "you get what you pay for" applies here. For 5-ply - if these are indeed 5-ply - this cookware is on the inexpensive side at the price I paid of $166.24 for 6 pans and 4 lids. This price point is much closer to what I'd expect to see in a mid-tier 3-ply cookware set. The design of this mimics some of the mid-tier 5-ply sets I've seen available, and the price point is significantly lower, although I can't compare the quality, as I've never handled those sets.I tried to capture some of the issues in photo, but I'm going to be honest, it's really difficult to capture the sharp edge on the connector or truly get a good idea of how deep the disconnect is between the handle and pot exterior in photograph. Even brushed, the steel is too reflective to make a 2-D image provide a good understanding of depth.

Great pan set whether just starting out or replacing an existing collection
This set replaced a mismatched collection of pots and pans we've been using for a decade - ceramic, non-stick, and all the things that may or may not be harmful for you depending on what you're reading. I'm just happy to have a great set of stainless steel cookware that is free from chemical coatings and seems very high quality. Easy to cook with and clean, and nice not to worry about scratching coatings when cleaning like I had to do with ceramic.Heavy duty S/S metal, robust riveted handles, contemporary design, and quality lids.I recommend watching a couple youtube videos about cooking with stainless steel pans so you learn the secrets of getting good non-stick cooking action. It's all about getting the pan up to temp before adding products and then letting them sit long enough until they un-stick naturally.
