Best colander I've ever owned.

I have been using this colander for about 2-1/2 years now, and it is still just like the day it arrived. I used to have a set of wire mesh kind, and I tossed them when I got this one. You might not think that a nice colander would be a quality of life upgrade, but it really is, particularly if it is something you use every day. I hand wash mine, which is easy to do. I was just using it today and decided I would write a review for it because I like it so much.

Not very sturdy, damaged during shipping

I really like the design of this colander but unfortunately it’s not a very sturdy one. This is most definitely a shipping issue because the first one I ordered was so damaged we sent it back. That is the picture with the huge dent in it. It came in a a nice plastic ziplock bag and a box that just fit the size of the colander. There was no damage to the box but the colander was dented beyond repair. Amazon was great and immediately sent us another one very quickly. The box the replacement came in looked a bit sturdier and the it was also packed in a nice ziplock bag, however, when we opened the box it too was dented. Before I could take a picture of the actual dent my husband had popped it back out. The picture shows two small dents on the bottom where it was dented in from pressure on the base during shipping.Now the colander itself is a decent design, and very lightweight and easy to use. But like I stated before not extremely sturdy. So we are keeping this and if it does not hold up we will find a more sturdy product.
