These are nice useful little dividers.They are reasonably thick and sturdy, without taking up too much space, and are easy to assemble into your desired grid size.They are true to size and fit the trays well.The only real "flaw" and this is minor, is that they are not super liquid-tight, so if dividing soups etc with them, you will end up with a block with pre-made score marks.This does make it easy to snap the portions off, or even give the divider a good wiggle-push to break them up. however it does mean you can't use this to put dissimilar liquids in the same tray. I am not knocking off a star for this however, as that would be an unreasonable metric to reach, it just feels like a limitation worth pointing out.Overall, these work well, and are a good value.

Compartments on the smaller size, good depth and fits perfectly
Been freeze drying for about five years now and on my second machine. Right around five hundred loads and counting and love putting up my garden vegies and left over meals. In a forum that I belong to they often discuss what is out there for our dryers and this is one thing they have talked about multiple times and everyone said they are well worth having.So I ordered this and it came plastic wrapped in stacks. It takes a little bit to put it together and sometimes when you think they have it snapped in correctly when you add the next it pops out. Eventually you can get them all to lay perfectly.The material is a smooth type of plastic making for an easy removal of your product when done. Heck, if they stick you can simply pull the ribs. My machine is old school and only has four trays - this has five sets so I have an extra. Great for bars... as in banana, squash, etc. squares. My plan is to crank out a bunch of sections filled with fruit for my grandson to munch on.These are slick and non-stick. They fit perfectly in my standard medium and stay put. Easy to fill up and the product looks so much neater in blocks. Cool new addition to my Freeze drying adventures.

I've had my HR freeze dryer for a year now, and freeze drying small portions (vs whole solid trays) has been something we've been trying to figure out. We've done silicone molds, prefreezing then drying those... we've done full trays only to try and break them up in a uniform amount (unsuccessful unless only by weight)... this product had been the best solution so far. They're not perfect, but functional. While they fit in the trays, they are hard to fully seat both in themselves and keep them low in the tray (we had some float up in the pumpkin puree we did). I realize we have the small size tray, and these are for medium (we'll be cutting the long pieces down some day) but connecting the smalls together for half the tray was exceptionally helpful overall. The biggest issue, we had 4 separate "cubes" NOT dry all the way. This has literally never happened in our machine before. So, it's something I'm now paranoid about. Eveything else seemed fine, but... now I don't know! Anyway, overall they're the best solution for the "easy uniform size" conundrum. But, maybe add a TON of extra time if using them (we had already added 6 hours).

Useful Dividers with Great Functionality, but Assembly Takes Patience
I recently purchased the 5 Sets of Freeze Dryer Tray Dividers for my Harvest Right Medium Freeze Dryer, and they’ve been a very helpful addition. The adjustable locking grid gives you flexibility in the size of each compartment, which makes portioning and organizing food much easier. Once assembled, the dividers fit well in the trays and do a great job of keeping everything separated during the freeze-drying process.One thing to note is that you really need to snap the pieces together firmly. If the connectors aren’t fully locked in place, the grid can end up uneven or wobbly, which affects how well the food sits in the tray. It also takes a bit of time to put each divider together. It’s not complicated, but it is a bit tedious, and because of that, I doubt I’ll take them apart for storage—reassembling every time would just be too much effort.That said, once they’re built, they work exactly as advertised and make organizing your freeze dryer batches much more efficient. For the price, getting five full sets is a solid value, especially if you freeze dry frequently. As long as you’re okay with the initial assembly time, these dividers are a practical and worthwhile accessory for any Harvest Right owner.
