Functional and Useful
I'm planning to use this multi-drawer cabinet to store my collection of pens and inks. I have a good collection of fountain pens and many inks, cartridges and converters. These will fit nicely in the different drawers. I like the small compartments in the drawers that keep the converters and cartridges from rolling around inside. I like the fact that each drawer is lined with white velour material so that my pens don't get scratched. I also like that it has an "old vintage" feel to it.Now to why I took away 1 star. At the time of this review, this box was selling for $71.99 which in my opinion is not high if the build quality was there. In this case, not so much. I mean I think it's wood but this wood is pretty darn light in weight. In fact, the entire cabinet feels quite light considering it's made out of wood. I personally don't think it's worth the price it's currently priced at. The drawers slide in and kind of rest on wood sliders so there's no stop for the drawers if you pull to hard. The entire drawer will come flying out. Also, since it's so light-weight, I'm worried about over-loading the cabinet with heavy inks and stuff. I think I will need to strategize and put the heavy stuff on the bottom drawers. The top see-through panel is in fact plexiglass and not real glass. I would think it would be solid glass for the price.Overall, a good cabinet. If the price was lower, I would give it 5 out of 5 stars.
