We've had one of these for ever, but recently got one for my inlaws consistently dull knives. We hadn't used this particular version before. It works great!! Solid product as usual.It doesn't take up much space in the drawer, is easy to use, and I'm sure will last just as well as ours has.

Notice that this is actually SMITH'S product and works really well! Generous grippy bottom surface and the perfect size to store in a kitchen drawer. I highly recommend using it as designed for use on a square-edged table or countertop: otherwise the knife blade can be pulled though, drop off the edge of the sharpener, and nick your countertop. Maybe place it on a cutting board for countertop use.
Doesn't work well on ceramic knives.
Perfect! I appreciate the small size/box. I keep it in my work bag for easy/fast sharpening. Would recommend.
