It's smaller than i thought but works as advertised. Good product. It takes just one small water bottle. It's a nice product. I would be using it in the field during military training events. Plug in to my military vehicle and instant hot water for tea, coffee, or cup noodles. Great product and well built.
It is a good product
A bit pricey, and boiling time is slow, but really good quality materials and build, also it's relatively light. My biggest issue that it's not convenient to use as a thermos: you have to carry a cup, the "bottleneck" is too hot to drink directly from the kettle.
Looks as advertised. Sturdy looking kettle. I got the 520ml size. I am at elevation 130ft or 40m. Takes 10 min to boil water. I tried x3 and it’s been 10-10.5 minutes. It beeps when it reaches 100C, boiling. It is 1lb3oz. I wouldn’t say it’s light weight like others mentioned in review, my stainless steel water bottle is lighter and it can hold 1.8L. But I guess the heating mechanism on the bottom is what makes it heavier. Temperature is in C not F. Instruction that comes with it discusses use in F when actual product is in C… I tried to change the metric but didn’t work. Temperature control adjustment in increments of 5. Starts from 40, 45, 50, and so on. Easy operation. I don’t see any steam coming from the cover vent but it does get hot on top, warm on the sides of the cover. I got this to boil water at work so I can brew myself tea instead of microwaving water to boil. Looking forward to trying tea boiled in titanium! Otherwise satisfied with purchase, as advertised, as expected.
This kettle worked one time. Now the temperature races up to the target point but it doesn't really heat the contents. It says that it's heating the water to 212 but the water is lukewarm, the water from my faucet is warmer. It worked perfectly one time and now it's useless. And it was one of the most expensive options.
I fill this in the evening and put it by my “quiet time” chair. Then in the early morning I can easily and quietly heat enough water for making my hot cup of tea without having to make any noise and wake my husband. There is a beep, but very quiet.
Stopped working in 2nd week. Wanted to love it because it fit my needs but it's now expensive trashedited a few months later- I received a replacement kettle and a refund from the seller, which I have bumped up the review from 1 star to two stars, but this kettle while working is off by 10-20 degrees F. Yes, you can change the settings to read F instead of C if you find reviews for similar kettles, those instructions still apply. But if the kettle is off by that much, it is not that useful for me .
