Great backup jar for the wildside jar for the blendtec.
I have the blendtec professional 800 blender that we regularly use, and I love the warranty that comes with it as I’ve had them replace Jars before when they wear out within the 8 years. But when I saw this jar come available I thought it would be great to have an extra as we are often making 2-3 smoothies / protein shakes at a time between our family of 3 that likes different fruit combos, and I have to wash the blender between each one. This jar feels incredibly substantial and is identical in size to the wildside+ jar. Now you will notice, it’s not a blendtec, it says blender jar on it. The lid seals tighter than my blendtec and the top clear lid is a tighter than the blendtec as it twists on and seals in place. It also doubles as a 15 ml measuring cup.I like that it has 4 blades instead of just 2. But one thing to be mindful of is the additional two blades are sharper than what you typically find in the blendtec. It says it’s 90 oz but realistically, 38 ounces is the max about you can put in it and it’s only labeled to 52 ounces. Now, I when doing ice cream setting with just frozen fruit and yogurt this jar does not do the same as the blendtec. But if you have more liquid in your mix it does a comparable job to the blendtec jar.At $69 this is considerably cheaper than the blendtec wildside jar, so it could serve as a good replacement or back up jar for the price. If your blendtec is still within warranty though I’d highly recommend reaching out to them as they will send you a free replacement with a few pieces of information from your blender and the jar.

Fantastic WildSide+ Jar That Fits Perfectly and Handles Big Blending Jobs
I absolutely love my Blendtec blender, and this WildSide+ jar has quickly become one of my favorite accessories for bigger blending tasks. It fits perfectly on my machine and works just as expected, making larger quantities and tougher ingredients much easier to handle.Fit and compatibilityThe WildSide+ jar slides right onto my Blendtec base without any hassle. It feels like a natural extension of the blender I already love, and I appreciate that I didn’t have to wrestle with adapters or compatibility issues.Performance and capacityThis jar really shines with larger jobs — smoothies for the whole family, big batches of soups, thick nut butters, or crushing ice for drinks. The added capacity gives you room to work with more ingredients at once, which makes meal prep and entertaining much smoother and faster. It handles tough ingredients with ease, and I haven’t noticed any weird textures or stuck bits after blending.Durability and ease of useThe build quality feels solid, and the jar itself is easy to attach, remove, and clean. The wide design makes it simple to add ingredients without spillover, and everything rinses out quickly. I like that it doesn’t feel cumbersome despite the larger size.Everyday usefulnessWhether I’m making smoothies, soups, sauces, or frozen treats, this jar makes the tasks feel effortless. It’s been a great upgrade when I need to blend larger quantities or thicker mixtures that might crowd a smaller pitcher.Bottom lineThis WildSide+ jar is a fantastic addition to my Blendtec setup. It fits perfectly, handles big blending jobs with ease, and feels just as well made as the rest of the system. If you already love your Blendtec and need more capacity or extra power for larger recipes, this is a great accessory to add.

Cheaper alternative that's effective with questionable longevity
I was excited to receive this replacement jar with the intent of having a viable spare for my blender. Jar fit perfectly and lid was extremely secure, a common gripe of knockoffs. However just testing with water the jar was noticeably louder, pointing to either an issue with the blade bearings by design or quality of parts used. Additionally the center nut holding things down had me scratch my head a little, as it's back common but and known from my experience as being a cavity for liquid (the coned end) and a chance for things to come apart (not a lock but by any means). Given the aforementioned two "issues" I question durability which in turn negates the savings of buying an aftermarket jar. I will update this review after some use time but for now I can't exactly say I would just buy a name brand jar and have peace of mind versus this product.

Not quite an exact OEM, but maybe even better?
This OEM-like replacement blender jar came in a brightly packaged box that gave me a high degree of confidence in the product from first impressions and after unboxing it, it only became better. The plastic is thick, and feels as good if not better than the original jar from Blendtec, and the vent lid at the top on this model is twist to unlock while the Blendtec jar that I have is simply pull to remove. The reason that I say that it's not an exact OEM is because taking a look at the blades, you'll find that it's actually a cross blade rather than a flat one, this hasn't proven to be a problem and if anything puts this ahead of the originals in terms of blending ability as I find that things are liquid much faster with this blade arrangement. I have no comment on how it will fare in terms of longevity at this point as I am a relatively new owner of this, but if it ever fails and if I suspect that it's due to the crossbar blades rather than the flat one, I will update this.
