Excellent
Works great. I like the gravity pressure and not having to set depth. Great initial distribution before tamping. Good deal for sure. The wood and aluminum looks classy.

The weight of this product was off a few grams. It was under weight. The main thing I don’t like about this gravity feed distributor is it does not slowly go down it just drops. So it does not function like I was hoping. The design looks very nice. Love the wood top. Not hard to clean. Very easy to use. It means I would not buy again. So bottom line if your looking something like the Jack leveler this is not it.
Superb quality. Easy to use. Very durable.
I've been trying a LOT of different coffee tools recently. This one works as expected and doesn't seem to have any major hiccups. Looks nice, feels nice. It's just not really for me.Between my WDT tool, a vertical tap, and my tamper, I just feel like this is adding an unnecessary, extra step between me and my espresso. I definitely didn't notice any major differences in my shots when using the leveler. If a leveler is your thing, then I imagine you could do a lot worse than this one as far as quality and performance goes.I feel like $44 is on the steep side, even for a product this nice (espresso tax strikes again). The price is really my one beef with this product. Otherwise, just personal preference.
It was exactly what i was looking for
My daughter talked me into this coffee making tool. We are definitely a java loving family. We have the Breville espresso machine, and we use it for three to four coffee drinks daily. We have worked hard and with practice, slowly learned how to create drinks with the taste and quality of a well made espresso or latte that we used to purchase from Starbucks. We grind fresh beans, set the machine to our preference and tamp for a good shot. I was happy with our drinks, but I am always open to tweaking the process for just a little more consistency. This distributor is designed to even out the grind and allow for a more level compression. Especially with a bottomless portafilter, the flatter the puck, the better the flow through the grinds and therefore all the flavor can be extracted from the grind. A quick check of Amazon will show that there are differing prices and qualities of distributors available. This one, in fact is on the more expensive side of the spectrum. I will say though, it is very attractive with a matte black and wood grain finish and has excellent heft with a very smooth and fluid action. It just feels well engineered. You can probably spend less for a passable distributor, but this one works great and looks very smart sitting on top of our machine on the kitchen counter.
Half the time it works, and the other half I get a slanted distribution for some reason even on a flat surface.
