Works well, fits the barista express portafilter perfectly. Great addition to my tools, works well with any WDT to keep the grounds from going everywhere and no need to worry about the funnel causing channeling since it’s magnetic and sits on the top.
I have a breville infuser with 54 basket and a Torino coffee grinder. The dosing cup that came with the coffee grinder was too large, so the magnet would not adhere to the Porta filter. THis product is sturdy and adheres very well to my Porta filter. Very pleased with it.
This is my first real dosing funnel, and I’m a fan. It’s well made and the coating keeps grinds from sticking to it when dosing my coffee. The magnets stick to the portafilter well but are just weak enough to not stick to every ferrous material in the drawer. My only complaint would be my tamper is a little tight fitting and I sometimes end up with a crooked tamp. A different tamper may work better or worse?
Works a treat on breville portafilters.
I have a couple of dosing funnels already but this one is now my favorite simply because is has magnets and it helps keep my funnel on my basket when I’m using my distribution tool. The quality is sturdy and I love the matte black color.
Well-made and sturdy, but it doesn’t actually fit my Breville grinder — as shown in my video.The funnel itself is very solid — nicely machined aluminum, smooth finish, and the magnets hold it nicely in place on the portafilter, and it definitely helps get all the coffee powder into the portafilter.Unfortunately, as shown in my video, it doesn’t fit directly into my grinder, even though it’s advertised to. I have to hold the portafilter below the dispenser by hand while pressing the button with my other hand, which makes the workflow a bit awkward.If it actually fit the grinder as advertised, this would easily be a 5-star product, since the construction and feel are top-notch. But given the compatibility issue, I’m giving it 3 stars — good price, great quality, but not the best fit for my machine, still usable though.
Has a nice feel, weight, and look. Strong magnets. What more do you need.
