PERFECT for 54 mm Breville Portafilter
This dosing funnel is exactly what I needed to fill the 54 mm portafilter for my Breville Bambino quickly, properly and easily. The two photos without coffee show the funnel on top of the aluminum portafilter that ships with the Bambino. The two photos with coffee (18g) show the funnel on top of the stainless steel 54 mm Breville portafilter purchased separately, which is my preferred portafilter. The height of the funnel easily accommodates the range of ground coffee recommended by Breville. The reviews that claim the funnel does not work with a Breville grinder are irrelevant here because I have a separate grinder and use its grind bin to fill the portafilter. This funnel fits perfectly on top of the portafilter with the slightest wiggle but it is heavy enough to stay in place and eliminates the need for magnets. It does not come off when filled with ground coffee and tapped on the counter to level the grinds. The counter tap does require the funnel being held by one hand and the portafilter with the other hand, but this is by no means a difficult task. And the coffee can be tamped with the funnel in place. The funnel fits around the portafilter opening and, therefore, all the ground coffee goes inside the portafilter. I have yet to have any coffee grinds "escape" from the funnel/portafilter onto the counter. It is made of stainless steel, which gives it its weight and also makes for easy cleaning. I highly recommend this funnel for Breville portafilters.
