Cheap and Gets the Job Done
Was initially hesitant about this CAPFEI branded item - due to minimal reviews and low pricing.However I was surprised at the value of it compared to other available calibrated tampers on Amazon. The option to set the pressure is easy and accurate and can be checked against any scale that can handle up to the ~20-30lbs you are looking to set it at. Has a nice ripple base that makes your puck look unique - which usually is at a premium price point.The spring snaps back loudly and the build quality seems decent due to the nice heft of the tamper.

Great Tamper For The Price
Fantastic tamper, I use it for my Breville Barista Express and it fits well. A couple quick tips I will impart on you is that it doesn't have a guide for what numbers equals what pounds of pressure but I have figured out that a 7 is around 30-35lbs. Also the spring loaded part of things while the tactile feedback is nice I worry it might unsettle the puck or cause cracking in the puck so what I do is press it till just prior to it clicking and my shots pour perfectly every time, you'll get a feel for it as you use it. Other than that it is very well made and an affordable option for tampers in a world of overpriced espresso accessories

Great spring tamper that needs cleaned every time
We've got rhis for our Breville machine, and it works perfectly with having scrape down the side or do too much of any extra work on the baskets. Tamping seems to be even pressure across the bed with nice ringed edges along the top.It's easy to use and makes it clear to know when you've tamped just enough. Also I think it looks pretty good. I enjoy having it out next to my other accessories.Just please be aware that some crowns will get in between the tamper and the base. Usually I run my finger around that plate every time to make sure it gets cleaned out. Some grounds also get in the ridges of the bottom plate that I routinely need to clean out. It's not too hard to clean, but something you regularly need to do.Overall, I find it to be a good deal for a spring tamper that I use every day.

Very well made and love the click feedback. It fits perfectly in the IMS 54mm basket and gives me a perfect puck every time. It will need regular cleaning with a towel or brush as grounds sometimes get stuck between the ripples. Not a big deal and very much worth it.

Work well for few months
The tamper worked well for a few months with time it has started to slowly disassemble itself after each tamp the spring loaded tamping head unscrews from the rest of the tamper until it eventually completely disassembles itself and the springs go flying everywhere.
