Great for everything from puff pastry squares, to making crackers!
Okay, these are so much fun! For such a great price you get 5 different sized stainless-steel cutters; they're durable and they washed up easily in the dishwasher. When they dry, I just stack them into one another and use a twisty tie at the top corner to keep them all together, so they take up almost no space to put away. The largest square is a perfect size for cutting uniform puff pastry squares to fill and fold in half for things like mushroom or chicken puff pockets (delicious!), and you have everything in-between all the way down to the smallest one which makes amazing crackers. I make a lot of keto crackers which are usually a very delicate material due to things like almond or seed flours - they don't have as much elasticity as glutenous materials and are fragile when you try to cut them. The small square gives the material more stability as you cut cracker shapes and they bake up beautifully. They're nice and thick (I took a picture of them all jumbled on one another so you can see the height/thickness) so these work in thin cracker material, puff pastry, or poofy bread dough with no problem. If you have something particularly sticky you can just spritz them with a little nonstick spray.As far as non-food use, I was looking at these as I put them away the other day and thought, "Man, these would be awesome for crafting to cut out material to make stairs" (we had to do a huge craft when my kid was younger and hand-cutting thin clay sheets turned into a pain in the butt. These would have made quick work!)They're inexpensive and good quality, easy to wash and very effective. These are a great purchase and handy to have.
