Uneven geat distribution.
Cooked cookie dough pancake donuts and they turned out ok. Upon initial heating there waa a littke smell and smoke. But, once the green light came on, it cooked fast however unevenly. It seems the part of the plates on top of the horizontal coil heat faster and the foods over that area browned quicker than other spots of the plate. But the food cooked evenly at least on the donut plates. So, I'll keep.it for now. Can't wait to try the other plates for cakes, paninis, and waffles. Although, I wish it could open completely at 180° so I can use it as an open face grill. Very light weight and pretty compact, although there might be storage issues for those 6 plate sets.
