The silicone is pretty soft, so these are very stretchy/bendy and might lose their shape if stored improperly. BUT, they’re really great for baking cakes. They bake evenly, and the cakes come out SO much easier than if you were to use a regular cake pan (no need for butter and flour on the pan). They’re nonstick and very easy to clean. I’ll never go back to using metal cake pans for complex shapes like this!
The heart shaped silicone pan was not sturdy at all. So when its time to take it out of the oven be careful it can still fold. But the times I've baked a cake in it, it came out amazing, it did not stick to the pan
These were great pans. Used them for a wedding cake and had no problems with the cake sticking. Baked evenly and weren’t too flimsy with batter in it.
Perfect sized and easy non stick bake. I dont normally like silicone bakeware, but got the set to make my dog's birthday "cake." The three sizes were conveniently portion controlled for his size. Easy bake, easy release and easy clean. Made cake in large one which would be like a 4 inch single supermarket cake size. Doggie ice cream in the smaller one (about a single scoop). Absolutely recommend these and would buy again.
used these to make my daughters birthday cake. it worked perfeclty. I was concerned they might be too mailliable to withstand the batter. but they held up strong. no side bowing. easy to clean. mold pops easily off of the cake. super easy to use.
I am so happy I bought these. They are just perfect. The size is right and they are non stick, although I put some butter over before baking, just in case. My cake came up perfectly. And the shape is beautiful.
I'm a hobby baker and am always hesitant to use silicon pans, but these surprised me. There was no smell to them and they seem somewhat sturdy. I baked a chocolate cake in them, which is a very loose batter, so I put the molds in a baking sheet to go into oven. I did line them with parchment paper so I wouldn't have to worry about the release. These cakes baked up quite nicely and when cooled they came out nice and clean from the mold. I gave 4 stars because only used one time. I will update after a few bakes. Pics are of the bottoms of the cakes, since I flip them over to cool. But easy to see the clean lines. Looking forward to using them again.
