Small - Holds a Large Egg
These six (6) Food-Grade, BPA-Free Snack Containers arrived nicely packaged in a professional box which would make it presentable to gift to someone. They measure 3" wide x 2" high. To visualize the size I placed a large egg inside one (see my picture).I was able to add six (6) ounces of water to a container and tip it over with the lid on without any leaking. The lids go on and off easily while also staying on tightly with a good seal. The lid would be easy to remove for a child or an elderly person who has difficulty with hand strength. The silicone lid colors are lavender, pink, army green, light blue, red, and periwinkle blue. Each lid has the same vegetable design imprinted on the top.These can be used for storage and placed in the refrigerator, freezer, and dishwasher. Because these are stainless steel they CANNOT be placed in the microwave.These would work well to hold fruit, nuts, condiments, baby food, yogurt, vegetables, snacks, etc. They could also be used to hold non-food items such as paper clips, elastics, hair accessories, jewelry, coins, etc. I like to use these when our jar of mayonnaise or peanut butter is almost empty. It allows me to get the containers out of the fridge or cabinet while still making sure to use all the mayonnaise or peanut butter. These containers would also be good for portion control. If I want to have some ice cream, I will use one of these containers so I don't over serve myself :)At the time I received these six (6) snack containers they were priced at $17 which is only $2.83 per container. I did remove one star because a quick Amazon search for "Snack Containers for Kids" and we can find similar containers for a cheaper price. I was able to find one for only $10.50 ($1.75 per container) which is 38% less in price than these. But these are REALLY nice containers and I'm SUPER happy with them.
