The size and quality of these nut milk bags are superb. I use them not only for making milk, but natural fruit juices also. The best part… I only have to strain once. Not multiple times.I prefer using this because it’s reusable and natural. Can’t forget the price also. Great price for the amount of bags you get.
Exactly what I was looking for to strain vegetable (red pepper) pulp. Bags are high quality, washable for reuse, and really inexpensive. I formerly used cheesecloth which didn't work as well and had to be discarded after one use. Winner!
As a person who makes smoothies I'd often wonder if there was a way to filter out seeds from the mixture. I heard about cheese cloths and nut bags, that these items would do the trick. However finding the one that works is the issue.I purchased these cloths based on the reviews. As soon as I got them in the first thing I tested them on was filtering watermelon juice. It worked. I was able to remove some of the pulp while getting as much as possible of the juice into the container.Now for those concerned about staining. Yes, these cloths will stain depending on what type of produce (such as berries, sorrell, meats, tumeric, etc..) you use. The only thing you can do is rinse well, wash in a bleach type mixture and rinse well.I tossed my cheesecloth in a small container with a bleach mixture and the stain came out. However if I was straining something that has a stronger level staining, I probably would only be able to get out so much. The good thing is you're keeping it clean from bacteria and prepping it for use the next time. Also I not advise putting this in with normal laundry. It is machine washable. I have a thing against putting items for food in with clothes.Material is sturdy and filters well for what it's worth. Worth the purchase.
Great nut bags! Thanks to these, I’ve become an almond milk enthusiast. I also used them to strain raspberries, and after washing, the bags looked almost like new. I love that the set comes with several bags, making them so convenient. I’ll never go back to straining with a metal strainer again!
I bought this for making soy milk. It'sSoft fabric, fine weave, filters very well and easy to clean. Great quality and reusable.
Used to hold pomegranate seeds while I used a cast iron juicer. Works well. Easy to clean.
LOVE LOVE LOVE these bags for making almond milk! It's 100 times easier than using cheese cloth to separate the nuts from the milk. When I'm done, I throw it in the washer and reuse.
