Excellent Value for Organizing Bulk Ingredients
This is something that I installed in my pantry: the **6 Quart Square Food Storage Container six-pack (brand: EC-Gaze), and the difference is very noticeable. The containers get filled easily, and you could tell what's in it just by looking without opening it or digging around. They measure in at a total of 6 quarts, which gives enough space to store everything from flour and sugar to pasta and marinated portions of food. Square things stack well and fit into pantry shelves much better than round bins. The material has good surface build quality for the price. The general PC material in feel makes this product durable along with being heavier-duty than those inexpensive plastic tubs- which is good considering the frequency of handling in a kitchen. Besides, it has measurement markings over the side for bulk cooking/prepping. Of course, the set has lids that snap on to help organize things and ensure cleanliness. Since I switched to these, the shelf looks tidier, and everything stays visible and accessible. If there is one point to note, it would be that the lids close dandy, but they're not completely airtight, so if you store really sensitive items (think really long-term grain storage), you may want to get a container specifically intended for full vacuum or seal. They're all rather large, given that they are 6 quarts, so if you only have small amounts of things, you might not always fill them, which can make them look half-empty. But that said, for most home pantry purposes-dry bulk staples, or ingredients for meal prepping-this set is a solid choice-great value, good material, and makes a visible organization upgrade.

Very large containers with lids
These 8 quart containers are very large - one container could hold a jug of laundry soap. They nest together for storage, but even still have a pretty large footprint and are quite capacious. The containers are sturdy and clear, with clear red markings along the sides in quarts and liters. They have large handles for carrying and lifting. The handles are part of the container so they are made of the same material as the container, and are sturdy. I don't have any concerns about lifting these with the handles, even with a pretty heavy load. Each container comes with a red lid. The lids fit nicely on the container, but they are not air tight or anything. The lids lift off fairly easily, but so far haven't just fallen off. If you need a solid air-tight seal, these aren't going to work, but if you just want to keep the contents covered and contained, it's perfect.Just keep in mind the actual size of these. They hold 8 quarts, so they are very large. You can use them to store produce or other foodstuffs, but for me they'll be better suited to holding laundry supplies, snacks on a road trip, art supplies for a project, or corralling toys.

Restaurant Quality 6-Quarts!
When I came across these 6 quart containers, the fact that it was a 6-pack sealed the deal.Fantastic value, so I couldn't pass these up- they are functional in so many ways they can't ever end up as clutter. There is also a plastic measuring-cup style scoop included!Playing around, I experimented with the true capacity of non-liquid or powder items so the stray coffee pods ended up in two of them. The lid quality is trustworthy, and it seals pretty tightly but I would not call it airtight or leak proof.Use for dry or blocky storage is perfect, and stacking the containers saves a ton of space.

Great quality - check the sizing carefully before ordering
Read the sizing careful. I thought I was thinking quite clearly when I ordered this set of six, 6 quart storage containers, until I got them and realized my mistake. I was thinking pints, not quarts (my fault entirely) and wound up with 6 larger than I needed containers. These are very nice, sturdy containers and the lids fit well. I like that they have markings on the sides and include a scoop for each container. Fortunately, I was able to switch gears from my intended pantry use, and these are being used for litter and pet food so they’re still being used, not returned. The quality is superb, just make sure you realize that 4 quarts equals a gallon… so 6 quarts is more than a gallon, not less than one.

Very large
First off, make sure you realize just how big 8 quarts is. Two gallons. About 14lbs of dry goods like rice. Per container. I received these (not thinking too deeply about 8qts) and theyre a lot bigger than I was expecting lol. Not a bad thing though, I'm using two for rice, one for cat food, and the last one for powdered laundry soap. Theyre very nice containers, quality material. They don't feel flimsy or cheap. I like that they each come with a scoop, rather than one for the whole set. The only negative is that the lids dont seem to "lock" as tightly as I would've expected. Maybe its just me, but the lids seem to open/close pretty easily, and I would think that air tight sealed containers shouldn't open so smoothly. Only time will tell, I love them either way!

Great storage for fragile items (or kitchen if you like). Here's how to open with ease.
Yes, these are great for any dried items to store (keeping in mind it's a solid seal but not airtight). Other reviewers had a hard time with the open and close. To open with ease, press the center of the lid and pull up the lip - easy to do.I'm putting the cost aside, for the value I will get for my visual storage needs. For reference, the ornament is a standard 2" vintage glass.I've opted to use these to store antique and fragile xmas ornaments vs. in a labeled box for better protection. So yes, I can use these for kitchen items but think the semi-clear container works perfectly for fragile items.
