Basic set of kitchen towels.
This is a nice basic set of kitchen towels that works well in almost every kitchen. There are two different colors, the darker black or the lighter gray checkered. The checkered look is a very classic look that would work great in a more old-fashioned kitchen type. Mine is a bit more modern, but I still like the look. They’re OK at absorbency, they’re definitely not the same as microfiber, but they have that kind of thinner rough texture that a lot of kitchen cloths have which I think would be helpful for scrubbing or removing debris from your hands. It works really well for a lot of those cases, but if you’re looking for something extremely absorbent, you’ll want something thicker as these are on the thin side. The color works well for any interior kitchen!These are a good size. I keep them folded and treat them over the handles of some of my cabinets and ovens. A good value for the money overall since you get multiple so you can either store the rest or swap them out as they get dirty and wash.

Absolutely the ultimate kitchen towel! Excellent value! I have been searching for the perfect kitchen towel that can do double duty, for dishes, and covering up all my yeast breads during rising. I always found towels good for one OR the other, but never both until now!These towels are absorbent for dish drying, plus they are big and keep my counters dry when laid out to put washed mixing bowls on to dry while baking. They are also the perfect thickness and weight for covering my breads and cinnamon rolls! Folded over they make great temporary hot pads for cookie sheets to sit on straight out of the oven.They are sharp looking towels, the black and gray match my black and stainless appliances nicely.I keep one handy for drying my hands, (as I’m constantly washing them), so I’m grateful they’re nice and soft.They wash & dry well, with no adverse problems from laundering. I love that they are 100% cotton!I plan on getting another set as I head into the busy baking season!

A Miss for Drying, but Handy for Other Uses
I was hoping these kitchen towels would be a reliable set for everyday drying. When I opened the package, I was pleased that they did not have an odor. I also noticed that they were nice and thick yet a bit stiff. They appear to be very well made. Unfortunately, they don't quite deliver on the basics. Despite being advertised as absorbent, the fabric doesn’t soak up water well at all. They tend to push water around rather than actually absorbing it. which makes them frustrating to use for their intended purpose. Even after a few rounds in the washer and dryer, there was no change in absorbency.Another surprise: there are no hanging loops, even though the listing claims they have them.That said, the woven cotton is thick and sturdy, and the size is generous. While they don’t function well as drying towels, they look nice and do work well as good sized durable placemats. They can even be used as decorative layering pieces for tables or trays or as pot holders (folded over).If you need true absorbency, these won’t be the right fit. But if you’re looking for inexpensive, durable fabric for kitchen styling and other tasks, they can still be very useful. In fact, I find myself using them in my kitchen every day, just not for drying dishes or spills.

Extra large kitchen towels
Pros: These kitchen towels worked really well and absorbed a surprising amount of water. I also love that they’re made from cotton, because they feel softer and more natural compared to some of the thin, synthetic dish towels I’ve bought before.At first I thought they were a little expensive for a set, but once I opened them up I realized how huge they are. They’re much larger than I expected, and that size really helps them feel like a better value. You get a lot of coverage for drying dishes, wiping counters, and tackling bigger spills.The checkered design is simple and stylish, and the colors (grey and black) look nice in the kitchen that even my MIL took some for her kitchen. That act alone is praise-worthy! They’ve been durable so far and haven’t left lint behind, which is a big plus. There’s a few straggler threads here and there but no major concerns.

Heavy duty, and stay nice - keeping their shape after washing and drying
These kitchen towels are really well made and feel solid, way heavier duty than most of the cheap ones you find in stores. After I washed them they didn't get all warped or stretched out, they held their shape and folded up nicely which is rare. They're also really absorbent which is kind of the whole point of a kitchen towel. The set comes with three towels that have a lighter gray stripe and three with a black stripe, so I gave my husband the ones with the black stripe since that's what he wanted and I kept the lighter ones anyway because I like to bleach all my towels especially kitchen towels. The quality is way better than anything I've been able to find locally in a really long time and I would definitely order these same exact towels again.

Great quality, highly absorbant
Nice set of kitchen towels in a great color! I love the checkerboard pattern. They are a good size, perfect for hanging. They absorb fabulously and ate great for drying dishes and hands. I love that its a six pack so I can have a few out and a few in the wash. They are also great at large wet spills! Cleans up super fast similar to how a bar towel would. They are cotton, not polyester, so they don't feel quite as soft as a hand towel, like in the bathroom, but that's what makes them so absorbent. This pack is a terrific value, and these are high quality. The seams are solid, no fraying, no stray threads. Well made. I'm very pleased with these kitchen towels. I will be buying more as gifts for my family.

It is very hard to find old-fashioned kitchen towels like this - 100% cotton, absorbent but lightweight, full sized, sturdy and attractive. The black and white/tan and white designs will go with any decor, and I am confident they will last through many washings. I am really impressed with these towels and would definitely recommend them.
