You can use it for hot tea but they are a bit wide so helps to hold it with two hands, but the lid is nice to heel your tea hot! They can be used for all sorts of other things. I gabe these as gifts at my Christmas party and the ladies went crazy for them. Beautiful design.

This is a great deal. The glasses are good quality and fit my cappuccino perfectly. I appreciate the covers (I had never seen these before for this style glass) that keeps you coffee warm if you like to enjoy your beverage slowly. I really like the small spoons. I can stir in my stevia without ruining the froth. I also like the patterns, as most of what I’m seeing lately in glass is very plain.
I opened these up on arriving because a few are for Christmas gifts. These are beautiful cups. The kids fit nice and snug. Could use for tea, coffee, hot cocoa, or soups. Comes with a nice gold stirring spoon or to eat from. Very, very pleased. May be purchasing more.
I've purchased three sets of these and they are great! The lid is secure. The mugs are beautiful. The spoons are cute but kind of flimsy. Would definitely purchase again.
