Excellent quality all around

Do yourself a favor and splurge just a bit to buy these lazy susans over the square base ones. These are still very reasonably priced, and the quality is SO far superior to the squares. They turn beautifully (if yours don't, just give them a couple of drops of white machine oil, and they'll glide like a dream.) They have no sharp edges to scratch up your surfaces. I make displays for charms that rotate on these swivel bases. I will never buy the square base ones again!

Very Sturdy

Very heavy duty, which is good for a large Lazy Susan turntable. When building a large turntable with a decent size base, you will need to drill holes through the base, attach the hardware to the base then attach the main turntable to the base through the access holes in the base. I hope that make sense.
