A fine product
A fine made product. My first bake was in a multi-purpose mini-oven that heats even. You have to experiment with cup heating and batter levels to make these yield a fully baked popover.

In truth, these are a bit too large for popovers. You'll be making absolutely gigantic popovers with these. None of the regular popover recipes will work; you'll have to experiement. That said, if you've entered the world of making small amounts of cupcakes and muffins (instead of full batches), then these are perfect for that. They're exactly the right size for individual muffins and cupcakes. And baking in them works out perfectly. Nothing sticks, the heat distribution is more or less perfect, and the cupcakes/muffins come out perfectly.Recommended.
I ordered these Popover Pans 4 Packs, Carbon Steel because I’ve been looking for larger popover cups for baking my grandmother’s popover recipe. My grandmother made delicious popovers and Yorkshire pudding; her tippling one Christmas when we were children resulted in a caved in tray of Yorkshire pudding she dubbed “Santa’s sleigh”, delighting us kids and obliging her to try to replicate this kitchen accident yearly. I love using her recipes, but my popovers don’t rise as high; when troubleshooting on line, I read that a larger cup yields taller popovers than the muffin tin I was using. I was delighted to discover this was true; these taller cups allow me to make taller popovers. They’re also great if I only want to make a few cakes instead of a whole batch; there’s three in our family; my husband, teenage son, and me, so four cakes will be eaten in one sitting. (Growing boy!)These popover pans are made from carbon steel; they’re about 3 1/2” wide and 2 1/4” tall. The pans have a no stick lining; I’ve always used butter, shortening , or oil in the pan with popovers to insure the “pop”, but it’s nice to have the no stick lining when baking cakes. This set of popover cups also comes with two bright red silicone accessories. There’s a basting brush to oil or butter the inside of the pans, and a textured silicone scrubber to keep them clean without scratching the no stick lining. At the current price ($13.99) I think you get a lot of value; the pans are sturdy and well made, and have a variety of baking uses. I liked the convenience of the included brush and scrubber. These could be a nice, unusual addition to a kitchen gift basket for a shower or house or apartment warming. These small baking pans might be useful for a single or new couple, since they won’t necessarily need to bake a whole cake to serve eight-twelve people.
Each of these Quyimy muffin/popover pans has a capacity of 6 ounces, so allowing room for the baked goods to rise, they realistically hold 4 ounces of batter (about twice the amount of a standard muffin cup). During our first time using these pans, our chocolate-chip muffins rose unevenly in our air fryer, so next time we'll rotate the pans partway through the baking time. Still, we consider our first outing with these pans a success, as the muffins browned nicely, popped right out of the pans, and tasted great! We had greased the pans with baking spray, but in the future, the included silicone brush will be perfect for coating the pans with oil or melted butter. We also like that the silicone scrubber is thicker and more flexible than other similar scrubbers we've used. We're already planning what else we can make with these pans to get more use from our air fryer and toaster oven. Next up: popovers!
I found these to be a great set of cups, pans, pots and anything else you can think of. Due to the versatility, everyone needs a set of these. They are great for popovers, cupcakes or even as sauce cups. So you'll be using them all the time for a variety of uses. They look good and the metal is durable.
Quality material and design.Perfect for individual or small batch of popover or other desserts.Silicone baster is the right size to coat pastries with cinnamon or lemon butter. All items are easy to hand wash, dry, and store.
I love baking, and this 4-pack Popover Pan set has been a fantastic addition to my baking essentials! The size is just right for cupcakes, caramel flan, and even egg tarts. The carbon steel material feels sturdy, and the nonstick surface works beautifully. It also comes with a handy oil and dish brush, which is a nice bonus. Highly recommend for anyone building a quality baking collection.
