Works for canele
They work great for caneles. Works best with bees wax/butter mixture. I also tried oil alone and butter alone but they didn’t release as easily.

Finally I found a canele mould puts out decent product......I have to check out my recipe because their not holding the shape and they come out a little small.....maybe I need more flour but never the less the canele are decent and presentable.......the copper moulds are so expensive and these work just fine..
These molds came yesterday and in perfect condition. Before I made canneles today, I researched on many types of molds, silicon, copper-made from France and everything in between. I decided on these molds because it was not expensive and still conduct heat similar to copper. I pre made canneles batter yesterday and baked them today. I coated these molds with a light coat of clarified butter, filled them up with batter and proceeded with baking. When time was up, I held my breath unmolded them right away. They came out perfectly. They did not stick to molds at all. The bottoms of my canneles were carmelized like the top. None has white bottom. These molds worked extremely well and I did not have to spend a lot of money on copper molds. Each mold weights about 43grams, just incase someone wanted to know this. I filled each mold with about 97grams of cannele batter. This gives it enough room to rise without making a mess in the oven. I recommended these molds without hesitation. After I submit this review, I am going to order 2 more sets!!!!!!
This mold has been used and hasn't been cleaned; it's full of dirt and grime. It's terrible!!!
Best molds I found so far. Once cooked, the Canneles just drop from the mold. I would really recommend over other molds, especially the silicone ones which are the worse.
I’ve long wanted to try my hand at caneles but was put off by the cost of the traditional copper molds and not inclined to try silicone. These seem like a great compromise between the two: they’re solid and well-made, and I gather that separate cups are preferable to the all-in-one pans (like muffin pans) since they allow much better air circulation for crust formation. They came individually wrapped in plastic baggies and stacked inside a small cardboard box, which is a compact way to store them. I’ll need to get another set or two to bake full-sized recipes, but mine is a small household, so I’ll probably start off by scaling down to a small batch with just this set, and probably just using butter without beeswax. I’m glad to have this more affordable way to bake caneles!
I am in love with these canelé molds, and I am beyond impressed with their quality! The material is sturdy and well-crafted, providing even heat distribution for perfectly caramelized crusts and soft, custardy interiors. The size is just right for me. I recommend this item.
