Very good coasters if you like the design

I purchased this for my son. He was very picky when searching for a set he thought was esthetically pleasing to him.The design he really liked. The colors are nice and the finish is more matte than glossy. It has that ceramic feel and approximately 1/4" thick not including the thin cork bbacking on the bottom that prevents scratching table tops.6 pieces, 5 coasters and 1 holder for $11.18 seemed like a good buy. I would say the value is spot on compared to other more expensive ones.I read in the description its supposed to absorb moisture and really didn't believe it, but after constant use for over a month, I've found it to be an accurate statement.Durability will be tested over time, however there is no reason to think it won't last many years absent from dropping it on the floor or pounding your heavy beer mug on top of it.If I had to say anything its the holder which doesn't have a protective bottom. I took care of that by just placing so cheap cork mat under the wire holder which works for my son.

Nice Coaster Set

The set itself is attractive and works well. Yes, the pattern is the same on all the coasters but that does not bother me. They match the decor of my living room which is what I wanted. Unfortunately, a guest accidentally knocked one off my coffee table and it broke into 4 sections (held together by the cork on the bottom of the coaster). Not thrilled about that but at least I still have 5 coasters left. So they definitely are not unbreakable but the price was decent. Overall a good buy and I am happy with them.
