Immensely better than the wood trays I used to have. I love that they stack perfectly and I can wash them! (I hand wash so I can't speak to dishwasher durability.) Durable for my kids too! They like to use one to spread out crayons and art supplies in, keeps my table clean from any crayon scuff marks and stops everything falling to the floor. Gotta love multi-purpose items.
We use these every day! for eating outside, or in the family room, or when we have guests and can't fit everyone at the dining room table. They do not feel cheap. Guests love not having to eat on their laps and they are a little elevated due to the handles. Although they are plastic, they don’t look cheap. They look like they will hold up. Light weight, but a thick, sturdy tray. I was pleasantly surprised! Will be super easy to clean.
I purchased these trays to hold quart sized mason jars filled with spices. 6 jars will lay down on one tray. I layed them down on the trays and slide them in and out from under a narrow shelf under a counter in my pantry. They are perfect! They are sturdy and attractive.
We are using frequently and enjoy the "solid" feel. No flexing.Surface is slick, be careful or your ceramic plate will slide off,,so use paper plates. Totally satisfied.
I initially ordered these because I wanted to put some cake pans on a high shelf and had trouble reaching any that were back too far. I figured that if I put them on the tray, then I could slide it out and reach even the things further back. It worked beautifully! I can put different smaller things on them, and not worry about them being back to far to reach. And the plastic slides so nicely on my shelf (compared to like a cardboard box or metal or something.)I had some leftover as I only needed 3 for the shelf. My daughter immediately took one to use for small crafts while sitting on the couch. She does those mini verse things, legos, etc. and it is nice to have something on her lap that is hard enough to work on, but has edges to contain any small pieces. It is also nice that they have integral handles so she can just move her project somewhere if she is done for the day, but wants to come back to it (without putting it all away.) She has even used it on her lap to paint her nails.I used another one to put my cats' bowls on. They seem to leave bits of food and splash water and stuff outside the bowls. I used to just wash the floor every day, then I switched to a placemat, but when I picked it up, I always dropped some of the bits on the way to the sink or garbage can. This worked great! It catches most of the bits they drop (not all because they are weird!) and any splashes of wet food or water are right on the tray. So I can pick it up and wash it super easily (compared to a tile floor.)I do have one left for use as an actual tray! It is really nice to carry a bunch of smaller things to the table in one trip. I kind of want to buy another set! We like to sometimes eat dinner and watch movies together on the couch, so it would be nice to have a tray to set on your lap to hold a knife or napkin (not so much a drink on your lap, we are not that skilled!) or to protect your hand or legs from a hotter plate.
I purchased these trays based on the reviews of others and glad I did. These trays are not only practical but also look nice. I initially wanted to buy the bamboo trays to add to my collection, but they were just too pricy. Glad I chose these plastic trays since they are easy to clean and stow. These trays were perfect and practical for my large outside party and made it easy for my guests to carry food from the grill to a chair.Overall, very pleased and exceeded my expectations for a simple plastic tray.
