Absolutely LOVE this purchase that I got on discount! It stores the 10lbs. of sugar I buy (cheaper than 5lbs. at a time) PERFECTLY & has simplified my taking/pouring out exactly what I need. Very easy to handle, use & keep clean.

To clarify the ambiguity of the product description, one of the two containers will not hold ten pounds of rice. I bought a twelve pound bag of Lumberg (not the one from Office Space) short grain brown rice from Costco and was looking for a container to store it in because as we all know, see no weevil, fear no weevil and this looked good. But when my order arrived I was a little disappointed that these were much smaller than I had envisioned. Had I ordered from Temu by mistake? But not ever achieving my desires has been a blessing to me many times in my life, and this was one. They are absolutely airtight. If you tried to store evidence of a murder in one, the cadaver dogs would pass it right by. And the filled weight is much easier to control in the smaller container so I won't have to vacuum every time I make rice. Each of the two containers will actually hold five pounds of rice. Would I buy this again? Yes, no question. I plan to. But be advised, if you have a cadaver to hide you will need a bunch of them.
These are awesome to store my rice into. They just pour out when needed. I want to buy more to store flour into to make it easier to pour into a bowl when baking. I also used these to store cake pops I made in the freezer because of their length- the cake pops fit perfectly.
Ordered these to help contain a 7 lb bag of kibble. We have a ceramic jar for daily use and the remainder kibble fits right in these two storage containers. Note that the measuring cup serves as the lid/cover to the spout. Seems to seal well. Spout is attached, large enough for easy cleaning. Works exactly as we needed.
