I LOVE these utensils so much I bought a second set! Personally I love that they are black and on top of that, the look vintage. They was well in the dishwasher and this may sound strange, but they don’t taste like “metal” like some utensils do.They are heavy duty and made very well.If I ever need anymore, I will 100% buy these again.
My daughter wanted black flatware for her Senior Serve table. I was skeptical when we ordered this set. This set was perfect for her table. It is beautiful and well made. She plans to use it later in her home.
They are light and nicely to hold , they do get a little water stain from dishwasher which isn’t a big deal. Not sure if knifes are sharp but it speeds peanut butter nice .I personally got them because of the design on them which I love.
Rrally bad quality. And im worry this stuff is toxic this how it looks after the first washed.
Very disappointed the set is beautiful however, the finish is coming off of my salad forks disappointing but the functionality is well every time we wash them in the dishwasher we get another one that the paint comes off of or finish comes off of can you send new ones
I am so happy with this cutlery set! Well made and they feel great. The forks and spoons aren't so heavy that they feel awkward while eating but the knife has some weight on it to give better control over what you're cutting. The tines and filigree are sturdy and aren't prone to warping. I added a picture of them on a regular 6×9 notepad for size reference.
The first thing to know about this item is that the black tableware is in fact black, but it is not matte black., it appears to have some color from time to time due to reflections. Having said that, the senator's most definitely black, and some pieces look darker than others just because of the construction and the way they catch the light.The design is tremendously goth (Sort of an ornate Black Rococo) And yet elegant at the same time. The set is fairly lightweight although the knives feel more substantial than the forks. (And by that I mean based on the somewhat light nature of the forks, you would not expect the knives to be as substantial as they are.)Which brings up the only other minor thing to be aware of that the various utensils are not tremendously heavyweight come but they're definitely solid, and may or may not stand up to heavy handed daily use, but will be perfect for a couple of special events we have in mind.Otherwise, pretty nifty, Might have to acquire a second set for larger group. :-)
