$ saved, Smooth blending
Although the description uses the words Vita-Mix and vita-mix a lot, I strongly suspect this is a knock-off. That being said, this is a heavy, sturdy metal container that appears to be stainless steel and works well with my Vita-Mix 5200 blender. The lid is plastic, but sturdy plastic. Be sure to push it until it snaps on well or, like me, you will have soup all over the counter. The bottom doesn’t fit as tightly as the container that comes with the blender, but it also doesn’t seem to move around due to weight. I hold it on the top while running it just to be sure. It is shorter and wider than the container that comes with the blender so the lids are not interchangeable. I was pleased with both the $ saved and the warm, smooth soup it produced.

Plastic free vitamix pitcher
Definitely a no name product from china unfortunately. But i have had it for a couple of weeks and it is functioning as it should. I paid about $110. Works with my vita-mix. Inside measurements are accurate

The blades were not as good as the Vitamix blades for blending
Our Vitamix blender’s pitcher developed a crack in it near the base which leaked. So we tried this metal pitcher but it failed to blend as well as the Vitamix pitcher’s blades.
