Shattered

I have had one of these for years. Decided I wanted 2. Mine is made of glass and the one I bought a few months ago was NOT glass as stated it was hard plastic.I didn’t realize that until it was too lat to return. One day I put really hot water in it to make ice tea like the other one and it shattered and hot water went everywhere . The discription should be changed before someone else gets hurt.

Overall a great product.

The container is great easily holding a 12 ounce container of concentrate plus the requisite 36 ounces of water. The top, however, leaves much to be desired: difficult to remove; must be removed to pour otherwise it leaks. Weirdly, an extra top was shipped with each container speaking strongly of the manufacturer's confidence with their product. Still happy with purchase although looking for a different cover.

I like the looks of it and it functions well

It took quite awhile to arrive, but when it finally did I was very pleased with it. I love the look of it and it matches an older pitcher I already have. I'm working on getting my refrigerator to look less chaotic and it helps to have two pitchers that look like a set. Now if I can only figure out what to do with the rest of the mess in there, leftovers in mismatched dishes, condiment bottles that are all different colors, where to put the milk, the cheese, the vegetables, the fruit, the yogurt, the pudding, the butter, the etc etc etc. Anyway, I love this pitcher. It seems well made. Now I just need to find a long handled bottle brush to clean it. I'm putting it to use as a juice pitcher and the capacity is perfect.

Good pitcher, terrible lid!

The glass pitcher is great and exactly what I needed. The lid is Terrible! I have to take it off to pour, and it’s not really that easy to take off. If I try to pour with the lid on it leaks like crazy and runs down the pitcher and all over the counter.

Very nice

I'm giving it 5 stars, because it is well made, attractive, thick glass, so I don't worry about it breaking. It is exactly as advertised. I use it to store reverse osmosis water in the fridge. I just wish I could have found one with a handle I could trust. This one is great, just have to be a little careful handling it to avoid dropping.
