20-30 minute assembly but
… this is a great looking cake stand. Once assembled (more on that to come) is feels solid and sturdy and is a great display for a special dessert. The top surface has a mirrored finish, while the base is more brushed while the gems sparkle and make it even more fancy. There is no reason you can’t use it to display other items as well, and nothing in particular that screams “wedding” so fairly versatile too.The assembly is easy for the 3-part stand itself. Simple threaded joints require just a twist by hand to interlock the pieces. The rough part is threading each of the gem strands into the small holes along the edge of the top plate. O M G it takes forever, or like 20-30 minutes. And I needed to use a lighted magnifying lamp because even with my readers my peepers weren’t quite up to the task.At $25-28 its not a steal, but I think the value is solid because it does feel very sturdy and the good finish is beautiful. Even the bottom surface of the top plate looks good so once a cake is perched on it the visual will be stunning from all angles. The gem stone strands add a nice glamourous effect, but might require you to take them all off in order to wash the top plate thoroughly- ugh; that would be awful. On some levels, you might want to use a cake base slightly larger than the top surface so it stays clean.I do like that you can take this stand apart to store it, though the original box is a bit too small once the bead strands are installed. But this cake stand is pretty enough to display proudly anywhere, and anything you set on it will look all that much more special.

This gold cake stand is beautiful and the crystal pendants kick it up a few notches, and makes it look so more upgraded. This stand looks like something you’d find in a nice home store or furniture store. If you own a bakery or cafe then this is definitely a recommendation, I can see a wedding cake or birthday cake on this stand. It’s a easy setup, I just wish the pendants were easier to put on, because I’m vision impaired, it was hard to see where the opening was, the do have pliers that open up split rings, or have pendants that clip on easier so that you don’t distort the rings, but it’s not a deal breaker, just a work on for the company. If there’s someone in your like that bakes a lot, this gorgeous cake stand would make an awesome gift. The pendants reminds me of those beaded curtain doors from back in the day 😍👍🏽.

So Chic!
I'm really impressed with this cake stand. The base, post, and top plate were wrapped to keep them from getting marred or scratched. Initially, I was concerned that the base stem was poking up through the inner box flaps, but all was well with the cake stand. It does require assembly which is super easy. Screw the post onto the base stem, screw the top plate on, and attach the crystals. No tools needed. (After you assemble it, don't forget to remove the plastic off the top of the cake plate.)The cake stand feels stable and sturdy. My 9" cake pan is the maximum size it will take.It is also very versatile. You are not limited to the crystals that come with the cake stand. You could use colored crystals, beads, bows, etc. The possibilities are endless.One small issue with the packaging is that all the crystals were thrown in together in a bag. This allowed several to interconnect and tangle during shipping. It took several minutes to separate them. This could have been avoided is the seller/manufacturer had individually sleeved the crystal strings. But even with that issue, I would still recommend the cake stand.

Fancy, elegant cake stand
This is an elegant cake stand. It is a gold color, and it has crystal pendants that attach and hang from around the side of it. The cake stand is made of quality materials, and when not in use, the parts come apart to store compactly. It is lightweight yet sturdy to hold a multi-layer cake. Clean up by hand is quick and easy. It is a great value for the money.

Nice looking with some caveats
The good: When assembled, this stand is quite prettyThe not as good: Assembly is tedious, and one of the strands was missing a connecting link so one is shorter than the others. Also, the top doesn't sit completely flat, it's slanted by just a bit and I can't straighten it out.Overall, it's a nice piece for the price. It's a very yellow brass color, which is neither good nor bad, just be aware. Also, the bottom doesn't have a nonslip base or anything so it could potentially scratch a highly polished or wood surface.

Elegant, study and a pretty color
This is a pretty design to add some glitz to your event. The stand is actually 8" tall and just under 10" diameter. The color is almost like a champagne pink/gold - not yellow gold as pictured. I have put some true gold stars in the 3rd photo for comparison of the color against the cake stand base. The top of the stand is protected by a film for transport and is a high gloss sheen. The base of the stand is more like an airbrushed finished - not a high polish. The stand assembles easily by screwing the threaded parts together. The "crystal" pendants feel like they're made of glass - not plastic, which is a nice touch and they reflect light well. I was give one extra string of crystals, so it was good to have a spare. Some of the crystals look slightly chipped / not clean edges, but it's hardly noticeable. Overall the stand feels solid and well made, and will give a nice elegant touch to any event.
