There's decent value here. The labels are cute, and the pen works. The linen jar covers will easily fit over a quart and pint mason jar, and the elastic seems strong. However, after several hours, our sourdough starter began to get a solid crust over the top - which we found is normal for cloth coverings (our first time using them). These aren't for us, and we are going back to using the standard loose canning jar lids/rings to cover our starter. With that said, there's nothing inherently wrong with the product if you're willing to deal with that; a lot of people are and love these things. To each their own, I guess.

Great pack

A nice set for an affordable price for sure. I don't feel like the labels are needed, but the pen is nice and I really like the little stirring spoon. I had given up on my starter a while back because of issues with fruit flies, or if it was too well-covered there was molding sometimes. I'm pretty confident I can get one going again now with these covers to keep the flies away.But we do have an active kombucha scoby in a large jar that I have problems with flies again in the past. We had a generic cloth over the top with a rubber band but it was getting worn out and I wanted a solid solution. I'm happy to say that these toppers JUST fit my wide mouth jar and now I won't have to worry about the flies sneaking in or the band snapping.
