Exactly What I’ve Been Needing – Sturdy, Reusable Cheesecloths with So Many Uses

These cheesecloths are exactly what I’ve been needing in my kitchen. They’re great quality, sturdy, reusable, and very inexpensive, especially considering you get a pack of six. If you use cheesecloth regularly or like having extras on hand, this set is such a good value. The fabric itself feels thick and well made—not flimsy like some cheesecloths that tear or fray after one use. The stitched edges make a big difference and help them hold their shape even after washing. I’ve used them for straining and food prep, and they perform really well without stretching or breaking down. One of my favorite things is how versatile these are. They’re perfect for straining broths, stocks, and juices, making nut milk, yogurt, or tofu, and even for seafood boils and spice bundles. Having multiple cloths means I can dedicate different ones for different uses without constantly washing the same piece.Cleaning is also very easy—just be sure to read and follow the wash instructions. Once cleaned properly, they come out in great shape and are ready to use again. I love that they’re reusable and more sustainable than disposable options, while still being safe since they’re made from unbleached, natural cotton with no dyes or chemicals.Overall, this is a fantastic kitchen staple. You get durable, reusable cheesecloths that actually hold up over time, and the price for six is hard to beat. If you cook, bake, or do any kind of food prep that requires straining or wrapping, these are absolutely worth having in your kitchen.

The nicest cotton cheesecloth I’ve ever used

I am blown away by how nice this set of 6 cloths is. Not to mention the reasonable price. It is by far nicer than any store bought cheesecloths I’ve ever used. The weave is much tighter (64x58 thread per sq inch). But still open enough to easily let liquid through. Usually I end up throwing cotton cheesecloths away after one use - their weave is so open they just fall apart. Not these. These are a world apart. It makes me wonder why I ever bought anything else. Each piece is 20“x20“. That’s large enough to do any sorting straining. It’s a large surface that could easily handle an entire large stock pot of shells or bones. Each piece also has secured, overlocked edges. So I truly can reuse them after washing. Even if they shrink, they’ll hold their shape. They’re made of unbleached cotton. No bleaches, dyes or chemicals were used. I had recently resorted to using a polyester weave kind, begrudgingly. I wanted cotton but had no idea I could find cheesecloths as natural and inexpensive as these. I feel happy to have found these and will reorder in the future. I can’t say enough good things about them.

Clear Stock Made Easy!

These reusable cheesecloths arrived packaged as described and each one is a 20x20 square which is a great size. They are thin yet still very versitle and strong enough for everyday kitchen jobs. The stitched edges help them keep their shape and there has been no fraying so far.We make alot of stock in our house and these work great for straining out veggies and herbs to get a clear cannable stock. Everything strains cleanly and it is easy to rinse them out after use. I really like that they are washable and reusable since the cheesecloth we normally buy is a one and done product and that gets wasteful fast. The cotton feels natural and safe to use for food prep and they clean up well in the wash. This is a game changer for sure and they work better then I expected. I am very happy having these in the kitchen!

Good for so many uses

Full cotton unbleashed. Perfect for my fermentation or straining my nut milks. Great size for straining pulp for nut milk. Size also works for folding to give multiple layers of my fermenting while keeping fruit flies out or for holding the glass weight down so I can easily retrieve it from the jar and still cover the top. I even feel safe using this to make broth since it’s unleashed cotton so not worried about the safety of what could get into my food. I was not doing so much with heated liquids because of having non cotton fabrics. This gives me so much more versatility. The border stitching isn’t great but good enough to keep it from fraying and that’s my only concern for my intended use. Price is good for the size and amount of sheets so decent value.

Great value for $5

These cheesecloths come with no bag, so I'll have to find my own storage solution. There are six of them, which is good because it's easier to use multiple at once rather than rinsing the same one over and over. I'm not sure how many uses they'll last because, despite the reinforced edges, there are plenty of threads sticking out and they shed. There was a piece of paper with instructions and it did not specify how to clean them, but I don't believe they're durable enough to go through the washer without a laundry bag. I hand-washed mine and they dry quickly. The paper stated that they're made of 100% unbleached cotton, which is appropriate for preparing food.I tested these by straining oat milk — you blend oats and water together and strain — and while the milk didn't taste good (homemade never does for me), it was a great consistency. The cloth was easy to use and big enough to hold a large volume. No pulp got stuck in the holes, so it rinsed off well.Honestly, they're a bargain and totally worth it for $5.

High quality cheesecloths

These are not the like the cheese cloth you get at the dollar store. They are very well made and are terrific for multiple uses. The mesh on these cloths is perfect straining juices when making jellies or other things (they're not just for cheese). I am very happy with the quality and quantity you get for the affordable price. The overall size of 20 x 20 is ideal for most needs too. At one point we were using cotton flour sacks for straining things because of the poor-quality cheesecloth we were getting, but now we can use these since they are the real deal.
