Nice thick glass.
These bowls are hefty. The glass is thick. The lid knob is kind of cheesy, but it works. The glass is a bit more sticky for my sourdough than my current ceramic bowl. But I knew that glass would be stickier even before I bought this. Some dough sticks after proofing high-hydration doughs. But the convenience of seeing the entire dough throughout the proofing more than outweighs the loss of 2g of dough. A thin layer of oil in the bowl would probably solve this issue. I have both hand-washed and dishwasher cleaned them. No problems with either method. These things are thick and heavy. Make sure that your kitchen scale can tare out heavy bowls. I love being able to use the glass lid instead of Saran-wrap. It's so much easier to cover it and forget it until stretch and fold time comes.

A very simple clear glass bowl for any kitchen.
This is a clear glass bowl measuring 5.5"W x 5.5"H. There is no lid. It is both microwave and refrigerator safe. Cleaning is easy. The glass is quite thick but I still wouldn't drop it on the floor. It sits solidly on any flat surface. The quality is decent. I inspected the bowl and couldn't see any cracks or other flaws. It can hold up to 35 fluid ounces. Its great for mixing salads. It is must have in any modern kitchen. Its a decent looking no frills glass bowl.

Nice looking and thick glass bowl, ok for oven use.
This is a nice looking bowl, the glass it is made from is pretty thick and suppose to be ok for oven use up to 482 F, However they say it is only freezer safe down to -4F. In any case, it's a good looking bowl with high steep sides that make it good for mixing up things or serving serving them up. It's also thick enough that it won't be easily broken. At 35oz it's probably not quite big enough for making up and proofing bread dough but it should be fine for something like a batch of pancake batter or enough scrambled eggs for several people. Would also be good as a small fruit bowl or as a bowl for candy or snacks. The bowl doesn't have a pour spout or handle, but I don't think that's really needed for most uses. Being glass it's very easy to clean, it is microwave safe and should be fine in the dishwasher. These bowls do not include lids, so they really aren't so good for food storage, you would have to cover the bowl with plastic wrap. This is a great design for general cooking and mixing.

Versatile and Crystal Clear!
I am so happy with this Bairuiin 1.05L shallow glass bowl. It is exactly what I was looking for to add a fresh and polished feel to my kitchen serving and prep. The clear glass design is beautiful the flat bottom makes it incredibly stable and easy to store. While the design is simple, the glass feels high quality and thick, which is important since I use it for everything from food prep to serving.I especially love how versatile this bowl is, which really brings convenience to life since it is safe to use in the microwave. It adds a professional, organized touch to my dinner table, and the 6 inch shallow size is the perfect proportion for salads, pasta, or even side dishes.Even though it looks elegant, the durability of the glass makes it clear it is built to handle daily use and frequent washing. It’s a great find that elevates my dinnerware collection without a steep price tag.If you want a simple and effective way to upgrade your food presentation while adding your own personal touch to your kitchen, I highly recommend this bowl!

Great for Meal Prep & Made to Last
I have gradually been switching from plastic to glass. Glass may be heavier, but it is healthier, more versatile and, barring breakage, will last forever in comparison to plastic. Also certain foods like tomato sauce leave difficult, or sometimes impossible, stains to remove from plastic. This is not an issue with glass.I purchased the smaller size bowl, which is perfect for mixing sauces, prepping ingredients, and storing leftovers. My husband even likes to use it as a cereal bowl, as normal sized bowls are too small for his liking. The quality and thickness of the glass is evidenced by the bowls weight and the smooth, thick rim is designed to prevent chipping, while adding visual appeal. The design should give this bowl great impact resistance. I love that it is both microwave and dishwasher safe. In addition to the health factor, being dishwasher safe is really important to me. Plastic, even on the top rack, can end up with scratches and white blotches, and washing by hand is time-consuming. The only potential drawback is that it doesn’t come with a lid. If that isn’t a dealbreaker for you, I definitely recommend it.
