Excellent spoons - not just for ice tea

If there is one thing I have learned from living in the South, it is that Ice Tea Spoons are an essential utensil in the kitchen, even if you never drink Ice Tea. Long handled spoons are genius for getting to the bottom of jars and glasses, for tasting bubbling soups and sauces, poking through standing water to push down whatever is impeding the flow in your sink... Can't live without them. I come from a country that does not have ice tea spoons (perish the thought of tea that is not hot!), so I bring them as gifts when I go back. These are the nicest-looking spoons I have ever bought. Very modern and well-made, nice heft. The bowl of the spoon is just a little too wide to get into narrow-mouthed jars, so I wouldn't necessarily keep them in my own kitchen. But people who are only just learning to incorporate Ice Tea Spoons into their kitchen tool arsenal will love them and find lots of purposes for them. Oh yes, and they are great for Ice Tea!

I LOVE these spoons. I use them for desserts, yogurt, etc. and they are perfect. They feel good in the hand, and gives me enough of a bite to feel dainty, without letting me be the piggy I really am (I tend to take big bites). The long handle is helpful for larger dishes, or deeper cups if you have a smoothie, etc. Love the design. The shape would be perfection if the handle were less of a spear and had some flatness to it, but I'm still very pleased.
