After struggling to find honest 18/10 stainless steel flatware, I can confidently say this soup spoon set is legitimate quality. These spoons passed the most important tests for high-end stainless steel.Why these stand out:The Weight Test: These are incredibly substantial. One spoon weighs in at 68 grams, which gives it a very high-end, balanced feel in the hand.Zero Magnetism: I tested these with a magnet and there is no attraction at all. This confirms they are true 18/10 "austenitic" steel with the proper nickel content for rust resistance.Clear Hallmarking: Every spoon is clearly stamped with "18/10" on the back of the handle.Perfect Design: At 7 inches, the round bowl is ideal for soup. Mafier 7 inch soup spoon.

These spoons are quality! Just the right size, length and shape, for soup, cereal or whatever. Solid not thin or flimsy with nice smooth edges and finish. The satin finish was really nice and being half off for 4 bought a second set.I have issues with arthritis and gout in my hands so wanted a spoon which was deeper and held more and this spoon was ideal for me. Much better than the table spoon I was using. Great purchase all the way around.

This is actually one of the highest quality items I've ever bought off Amazon. They're very thick and heavy, not the junk that's just stamped out of one big meral sheet. You really feel the weight compared to normal silverware, but I appreciate that cause I can tell they're going to last a long time. I love that the edges are not sharp, like on some cheap spoons. Washed up well in the dishwasher. Perfect size too. I got them when they were on sale which was nice, but I understand why these cost more compared to other sets but you get what you pay for. At least I won't ever have to buy more anytime soon. Maybe never again
