Very sharp, use extreme caution !

This is the best chefs knife I’ve ever purchased. It is extremely sharp and will cut, dice, chop, etc. I treat it like a priced possession! The total appearance of the knife says it all , with the Damascus steel logo on the blade, telling you that you have the real deal, not a piece of junk like some of the other brands of chefs knives I’ve looked at over the last several months. I’ve taken my time and done my research and reviews on dozens of other options I could have chosen from. This knife is the best you’ll find for the price they ask.

AMAZING knife!

This is the sharpest knife I have ever had! It had a beautiful edge, razor-sharp, right out of the box. It is well-balanced, easy to hold in my hands (I have small hands and this is still very well balanced for me), and cuts incredibly well. I sliced jalapenos so thin that you could literally read through them - absolutely paper thin.I have the 7 inch triple rivet handle, and I highly recommend it to anyone! I can't believe how wonderful this knife is! My ONLY complaint is that there is not a cover with it. I have to keep my knives in a drawer, so I'll be searching for a perfect cover. I can't really detract from the knife for not including a cover, as most chef-level knifes would be kept on a magnetic board. The cover is just a personal preference, and necessary because of the way I store my knives when they're not in use.I absolutely LOVE this knife! It's incredible!!

Good, but a couple of caveats...

This is a nice looking knife that is very sharp. Fit and finish are excellent, however:Contrary to the description, it is not safe to use on a magnetic knife holder. It slides and wants to come off when every other night is glued to it!The other issue is that it did not come with a blade protector or sheath. I had to return a couple before I finally found a leather one that fits. It's slightly on the light side, but that's because it has a thin blade.If it actually stuck to the magnet or came with the sheath, I would have given five stars.
