Honestly I'm kind of blown away by utensil holder. It looks lovely – the fact that it looks more like a painting than a photograph just seems to add a touch of class to this beautiful kitchen aide. I don't really know where to begin to describe it beyond that. It has a significant heft to it adding to the feel of quality – and stability. The size seems to be perfect for everyday use. I've used a utensil holder for years, but it always seems like items got jammed up inside near the bottom making it awkward because the bottom was too narrow. The width of this means you can fill it with lots of utensils such as spatulas, whisks, mixer utensils, etc. and it doesn't feel like you are trying to pick a lock whenever you're replacing or removing something because of fat handles. The bottom indicates that this item is safe for both the microwave and the dishwasher. It also seems like it would be excellent for flowers or even chilling a bottle of wine. It would be an awesome gift for someone you love – especially if they love sunflowers! Functional and decorative.
This utensil holder caught my eye with it's bright sunflower painting and it didn't disappoint. This utensil holder is absolutely gorgeous, bright vivid colors and well done painting.It looks great on the counter top or the shelf. Use it as decoration or utensil holder, it can even double as a planter or a vase. It's large enough and sturdy. Got some weight to it because it's ceramic.Really great piece to add to any kitchen, and still very functional. The price is not bad either, basically like buying a piece of artwork. The item was also properly packaged and protected for shipping. No cracks or chipped pieces on this one.

Well Made, Holds a lot of Utensils
This all comes down to how you like the design on your countertop. It is a glazed ceramic that holds quite a few utensils. The capacity is about 3 1/3 quarts. It has a 6 inch diameter, so decide before you buy if this will fit well where you intend to place it. If you like how it looks and you have space for it on your countertop, you will like this.It states on the bottom that it is dishwasher and microwave safe. It is clearly dishwasher safe because it is glazed over 100% of its surface inside and out. I tested it for microwave compatibility. I filled it with one cup of water and set the microwave to high for one minute. The water was hot, the container was not, so I can confirm it is microwave safe, though it does make me curious as to why one would use this in the microwave.
