A beautiful elegant matcha set
This is a beautiful set. The rustic color of the pottery fits perfectly with the wooden color of the mat and accessories.The potteries, the bowl and the whisk holder, are roughly glaze. It is not a smooth glaze, the surface has a slight rough feel to it, similar to terracotta potteries. Normally this would be a minus, but the earthly color of the pottery makes the rough glaze fits very well.The accessories, the whisk, stirrer, and stirrer holder, also add to the aesthetics of the set. The spackle of the dark brown with the light brown bamboo makes a refine contrast. The strainer is not of the cheap variety, the handle is finished with a dark cherry wood color.This is a set that would make a beautiful gift or just a great display piece. Of course, it also makes a good matcha.

Beautiful and mostly Quality set
Beautiful craftsmanship, this set has everything you need to have an “authentic” matcha making experience. Comes with a mat, matcha bowl, whisk, whisk stand, sifter, a little bamboo spoon and spoon stand. The spoon and whisk are made of bamboo and feels great in the hand. The sifter has a wooden handle that feels substantial and pleasant and the wire mesh looks well installed, no worries about that coming apart. The bowl and whisk stand are made of ceramic and has great weight to it however it is a bit unpleasant to hold as it is very grainy/rough feeling. The spoon stand also arrived broken but it is still functional. Aside from that, this is a great set for any matcha enthusiast or for yourself.

This is a very beautiful matcha set. The sifter is a nice modern addition, making it easy to sift the matcha. The whisk works great, and the scoop allows you to carefully scoop out just the right of matcha for your bowl. The scoop also has a differentiation in the middle, which makes it ideal for practicing traditional Japanese tea ceremony.You can feel the lined pattern on the outer bottom of the bowl. There doesn’t seem to be a signature or marking at all on the bottom of the bowl, which is what you typically find with traditional hand-made bowls. The bottom is smooth and a light brown color.
