It's a Yes from me.
These carafe keep liquid hot for hours. In order to test them out beforehand, I poured water straight from a kettle into the carafe. I measured that temperature at 200°. Each time I checked back the temp had only dropped a little bit. I actually attribute some of the heat loss to the fact that I was pouring some of the hot liquid out during each temperature check. The temperature dropped so slowly and gradually that only by the 18 hour mark (the next day) was it decidedly unusable for *making* hot bevs. But if it were a premade drink, on a cold day... I still would've drank it. It wouldn't warm the soul but in a pinch I suppose it would be sufficient. That said, nobody is expecting to get HOT liquid from a carafe that many hours later. The matte black color gives a chic, minimal vibe. The handle is sturdy and easy to grip. The spout didn't drip. Tip: set the carafe upright before releasing the thumb tab to allow the remnants to drain back inside the carafe. Also definitely pre-warm the carafe with hot water before filling it with your hot beverages. My test timeline:12 p.m. filled pre-warmed carafe w boiling 200° water. That's just way too hot. We're holding our cups and waiting.1ish p.m. water was 180° - That's very hot. We're blowing on every teeny tiny sip.4:15 p.m. water was 169° - That's still kinda hot. We're cautiously sipping.6ish p.m. water was 160° - That's very warm, almost hot, we're sipping more comfortably now.6:25 a.m. water was 130° - That's pleasantly warm but easy drink. In a nutshell: They presented well for my occasion. They work as described. I quite like them. I recommend them. I hope to get many uses out of them.
