Fingertip tight, not snug.

Made a batch of chili and pressure caned for 1hr 30 mins at 11-12 lbs pressure. This video is me taking the lid off and cans out. I didn't have any buckling of the lids or anything so overall u am very pleased with these lids. I'm a rebel canner however and I do re-use lids. The seal on these is very thin tho and I will not be reusing these lids bc I wouldn't trust them a second time. Not first time using cheap lids and I've found that the key to prevent them fromos-shaping/buckling is to make sure the lid is on loose enough that pressure can escape from the jar without pushing the lid to bucket. However you have to keep them tight enough that there's not alot of siphoning. Gotta find that sweet spot. Overall I would recommend these to a seasoned canner

I found them to be resealable when used with a vacuum sealer.

Use them all the time. Good seal in the canner. Since I got my vacuum sealer, I dry seal sugar, nuts, flour, marshmellows, crackers etc. I have completely re-did my pantry staples. I put a label on the jar stating what it is and when sealed. Food is Iasting longer and saving me money. I continue to reuse them to dry seal and they just keep on going.

Excellent quality, but a little confusing on the description.

The canning lids seem to be of excellent quality.I would have given them a five star rating, but i didn't realize they were for the wide mouth jars because they stated the regular sized jars. I guess I didn't pay close enough attention to the description, but I am not returning them as I will be using them on other wide mouth jars and the price and quality are what I expected.I will be ordering more lids from this supplier, but I will pay more attention to what I order.
