For 90$, not bad at all. Really nice handle with resin, blade is really sharp, good balance on knife. However the sheath has lots of black dust or little hair in there and they get on blade, and it’s so hard to clean then they also don’t dry as easy.
One of the best knives I have ever handled
It cuts through raw chicken like it's butter. My daughter nicked her a hand on it and didn't even know because it's so sharp that it was a clean cut lol. This is definitely the real deal.
WORKS LIKE PROFESSIONAL
A very good knife. Steel rings, if anyone understands the quality of steel by sound. I bought it on July 16 of this year and since that time I have failed it once today, August 19, although I use it every day. It holds the sharpening very well when the knife is used correctly. It fits well in the hand and has a great balance. One thing can be said: it is worth the money. Recommend.
Great size and shape. Im not sold on it being Damascus, it very much appears top be an etch. But i can see these 3 layers of steel on the spine. Takes an edge well, and keeps it well. Mine came very dull with an improper edge angle grind, nothing that couldn't be easily fixed. But might be a large deterrent for some people especially if you aren't the kind of person who changes blade geometry for your preference.
This knife is so beautiful it's worth framing. I'm so excited to own it. I feel like I did when I bought my first car...I want to show it to everyone and tell them I HAVE A JAPANESE CHEF KNIFE...and I'm not even a chef. I bought it coz my son kept complaining my other knives were dull.... I did a lot of research and this is the winner hands down.
