These are great. All 4 plates are in great condition and work great for portion control. They are a little heavy for their size, but not much more than stoneware. The design reminds me of child plates that I got at restaurants, as a child. They will definitely work for children portions.

We all have that one person in our life that hates their food, touching. These plates, while small, help with that. These are smaller than I originally thought when ordering. However, they should hold food in the appropriate portion size. They are very sturdy. They feel very high-quality for the price. The plates will definitely help keep food separated.
Bought for a dementia patient who was having a hard time self feeding. Worked great for keeping the food from going all over the plate.

You know that item that you have around that seems like it wasn't going to be anything important, but it becomes what everyone wants to use? Favorite blanket, chair, coffee cup, etc? That is what these are becoming. I ordered these as at my parents home they have pretty much switched to a small countertop oven and I thought these would be great for just being able to heat up a left over plate of hot dish, or potatoes, re-toast a sandwich, etc as their appetites decrease and they just have a lot of times where that is the case. I liked that there are separate compartments as well, so you can put runny foods like cottage cheese or jello in one and keep it out of everything else. It's funny how useful items end up being useful in other ways.So what we have found is that this size plate. is very attractive to grab from the cabinet for almost everything. It's smaller than a full size plate, so it seems like the right size for the people using them. I think it also helps my dad as he struggles using one arm, and chasing corn around the plate gets to be tough for him. This plate works great for those kind of users, especially since it is really pretty heavy for its size. It works really for him to be able to eat. I am thankful for that.Surprisingly, we also used a couple for charcuterie one night. We had the cheese one compartment, meat in one o the others, and we had a couple of spreads that we kept separated in one other plate. It was pretty useful in that regard. Oddly enough, the usage I was expecting, the heating up leftovers, hasn't been as prominent in usage yet, but it definitely works for that too.I think the upshot is these are pretty useful to have in the home. We aren't really using them for portion control, which was a big selling point on the listing, but other things become more important. I am impressed with the quality and the functionality. They look pretty durable as well. They are not expensive, particularly, but you can buy cheaper plates. You are buying these for the ability to heat these in an oven, and keeping things separated. But you will want them because they are useful.
