This is a beautiful, high-quality chef's knife. The design is elegant, the steel highly reflective and sharp, the handle smooth, and very ergonomic and comfortable to use. To top it off this knife comes very nicely packaged in a very giftable box. Excellent presentation! I have no doubt this knife will last a long time and I will get my money's worth. Buy it for yourself and enjoy, or buy it as a gift and make someone else happy:)*Update: I really love using this knife; the handle is so comfortable and it cuts so smoothly. The only disappointment is that after a few weeks the branding on the blade is oxidizing or fading and it’s somewhat discolored now. This has no impact on the functionality of the knife, but it does make me question the quality of it some, as this has never happened on any of my other nice knives. And this is with hand washing and drying immediately after each use (as I do with all decent knives).
