Plys 8" Santoku knife

Well made, very balanced, looks very nice, and very sharp. That being said, it doesn't seem like it's a real Damascus knife. It appears to be laser engraved. For the price it's we'll worth it. Unless someone really looks it over they'll never know it's fake. The hilt or handle is very nice in the hand.

Maybe not real Damascus

This is a good knife. It has nice ergonomics, cuts well, and is comfortable in the hand.However, I don't believe it's real Damascus steel.I didn’t conduct a detailed examination, but the pattern appears more like it’s laser-printed or etched rather than authentic. Additionally, all the patterns in the manufacturer’s photos, as well as customer photos, are identical to the one on my knife, which seems unlikely for genuine Damascus.I don’t appreciate false claims, so I’m deducting one star for that but not more because it’s still a good knife, even if it’s not truly Damascus.

Stands up great to daily use

I needed a new utility kitchen knife and decided to try this one based on good blade steel and handle features for an affordable price. Razor sharp out of the presentation grade box, and the handle is very comfortable. Been using daily for 4 months of food prep and haven't had to sharpen it yet. I wash it immediately after each use, pass it over a steel a few times, and store it upside down in a knife block. It's just as sharp as when I bought it . Very pleased with this purchase.
