Awesome knife, not just for camping I love it at home too

I needed a kitchen knife to use while my "good" knives were out being sharpened and so I picked this one up. I LOVE it so much! Its better then I expected and has become my go to knife. I know that this was billed as more of a camping kitchen knife, but I love using it at home. Its sturdy and the grip doesn't slide in your hand at all even if they are wet. Its stout blade holds an edge nicely! I know that it's not supposed to affect its function, but it looks cool as hell and that's always a bonus. It's got a good weight that feels good in the hand without being either too heavy or too light (nothing worse then feeling like if you're not extra careful you might break you knife because its so thin and light. Or wearing out because your knife feels like a set of weights to work out with lol)

I would like to say that this is an excellent knife. I am and avid outdoorsman's and have spent half my life in the military.I understand great quality and have relied upon quality through my career and hunting. I bought this knife to be used in the kitchen but can be used just as well outside in the field dressing a deer. It is great quality with great fit and finish. The blade was razor sharp right out of the box and has no problem cutting through anything. It maintains its edge very well and with just a few runs across a sharping stone the edge returns to a razor-sharp edge again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great quality knife for either in the kitchen or the field.

Sharp, seems to be holding it’s edge.

Handle ergonomics are great. Blade has held its edge well so far, couple of months of regular use mostly on beef and chicken and veggies. They might consider including some kind of blade cover (even just a cardboard sleeve) so it doesn’t get dinged in a drawer or cut you when you reach for it (no, I didn’t get cut, I made something for it). I may write again after I have to sharpen it.
